Just Curious, How Active Is The Women's Only Forum?

What many ladies don't understand, is that it is important to post in a manner that is consistent with your provider persona. That lets guys get to know you better and build your brand and image.

Two ladies I can think of who do this quite well are LuxuryDaphne and LexieIn Houston. And they are quite opposites. But after reading their posts, you get a feeling of knowing them.

Daphne is the smart, sassy, quick witted badass that guys love to hang out with.

Lexie is the genuinely sweet and kind lady who reminds us to watch our manners while she's baking us treats and loving on us.

If you notice, neither of these ladies are targeted much by the guys for insults, etc. They usually garner the respect of the large majority of the gentlemen even though they speak their mind. And each has fans but not necessarily creepy WK ones...

The fact that they didn't bother to respond should be a pretty big clue. Very few women use this board the way the guys do. For most of the women, its a means to an end. They log on, post an ad, check alerts and log off. For most of the guys, its a social club. Since women have slowly wormed their way into every "men only" space in polite society (cigar bars, men only bars, country clubs, rotary clubs, etc.), I suppose hooker forums are the only place left for guys to be guys... (And even here, we have limp-dicked turds whining about our need to be more polite and censor ourselves to make it more palatable for the ladies.) You don't really see a whole lot of guys trying to elbow their way into the daughters of the american revolution or the junior league, but fuck it. Equal rights and all that bullshit.

I certainly do more than log on, post ads, check alerts, and log off. This place is ENTERTAINING. Plus, the smart gals realize that EVERY comment they make is an ad, a way of representing their personalities and keeping their names at the forefront.

I don't hate anybody, nor feel that I am in direct competition to all providers on this board. I have my niche. I admire many of the ladies, like the ones who have posted in this thread (LilMynx, while not a provider, has certainly summed things up well about brand/image), and those who are assertive in standing up for themselves and other providers, as well as those who are imaginative and earnest about marketing themselves.

My opinion is that there is plenty for everyone on the buffet, as people have tastes that run the gamut. Some of you fellows actually, as Dorian says in his sig line, "Come for the hookers, stay for the drama." It's all good.

But LD has made the star post about cynicism on the board, "If you give a damn, you've already lost the fight." She gets it. (And I admit, it was something that took me a while to wrap my red head around.)

Although there are plenty of girls that will take the opportunity to make you look bad when you're trying to post an alert or just giving your honest opinion. If the women's forums were so active on here, the main complaint weenies like blowpop have -- (how come more women don't participate?) -- wouldn't be a complaint at all. I am fully aware that there are abnormalities like FIH on this forum, who post often and participate well (if a little heavy-handed with her folksy "don't you want to behave yourself" bullshit).

As I suspected and has been somewhat validated here, the women's forums are virtual ghost towns compared to other forums here. I'm sure there are posts and some participation there, even some providers who tolerate each other enough to call each other "friends" (for whatever that's worth in a woman's mind), but for the most part, this isn't a social media for women the same way that it is for men. If it were, we'd see alot more participation in every forum from women, not just a handful of interjections here and there and way too much from the post-whores like LD.

The women with the most reviews and who are talked about the most, never have posted a single thread or post other than an Ad. So obviously men want women who are seen and not heard. Or maybe its the fact that they cant spend 6 hours reading their posts to really get the interest flowing, they just have to call and set up an appointment and hope he gets to know her a little in person.

I think its a good marketing tactic. All a guy has to go off of is her beauty and reviews, not her personal opinions, nor the opinions of how others view her because of her personal opinions. I am sure you have noticed women who open their views up on this site often get attacked and if you aren't good at throwing well articulated insults to get around the mods or even hold your own in an "internet fight" (which is where it is war of word articulation), you will never win. Most men assume women in this profession are not the brightest crayons anyways, which is why they are easy targets and how dare they try to defend themselves against their insults.


But back to what LD said, If you give a damn you already lost, and that is why 90% of registered women on eccie could give a crap about what is going on.

I would agree with Mya that the girls who we all love the most never post ads or much and I am sure that they don't live in Coed Discussions or the Powder Room. Think about the girls who post the most in ever section, post several ads weekly and we all have something to say about? I can think of one recently retired provider who posted on every thread and while she had a several good reviews, if she were busy with 5 clients a day at an hour, she couldn't find the time to post as much as she did. The same is true of a certain massage type who offers greek trips.....if she were handling business and knowing how much everyone on here likes GFE and trips to Greece then she would be way to business to comment on everything...where has she been lately?

Thanks for sharing, Mya, but that wasn't quite what I was driving at. I think the perception that "women who open their views up on this site often get attacked" is based on the fact that alot of the women on here are rarely heard from UNTIL they've got a bone to pick and a fight ensues. Men, being the simple creatures we are, love a good fight and egg these situations on.

And I'm not going to speak for all the guys here because I don't care enough to try, but I don't think all providers are morons. Alot of them are, but I've met some really smart, capable women in the hobby. I'm sure there are some misogynists here who think all women are dumb no matter what, but they're going to think that no matter what.

If women don't use this site to socialize, its because they don't want to, simple as that. It's not some problem we need to fix or because there's some institutional attitude problem that the mods need to change. I'm not as condescending as blowpop and others, assuming that the poor lil' girls can't handle it when it gets rough and angry words are typed. They could if they wanted to. They just don't care.

then there are some ladies there just not interested in anything but their money, pay them to socialize with them not socializing on a whore board for free. the reason why women don't really post here that much runs the gamut like free range chicken.
