If you are only around short periods of time, it seems to make no sense to get a house out in the boonies like the Woodlands or Sugar Land. It makes more sense to rent a condo somewhere in the inner loop where you/others can get to places easily.

Houses are nice and all, but honestly, location seems pretty key.

My input for what it's worth is to stay away from the area. If I found out the incall was some where off of trulon and cook, I'd cancel no doubt. Pretty much goes for anywhere in the SWAT.
