not in its current form that is for sure. they will stay unified for awhile. they are fissures within their ranks but it will be papered over for the sake of unity.

I think the democratic party will get weaker over time to the point of near irrelevance like most 3rd parties.

the two party system will prolly remain unless there are major changes in state laws regarding easier ballot access for other 3rd parties.

It isn't suppose to be a political party but it can attach itself to certain organizations to promote itself just as the Christian Coalition isn't a party but attaches itself to the Republic Party to reach its objectives.
