The draft...

The Cowboys have one of the top 4 quarterbacks in the history of the NFL. His stats are undeniable and (unfortunately sometimes) he has the balls to take chances. Nobody complains when he wins, everybody complains when it doesn't work out. But look at the stats.

Manziel is an awesome high school/college QB. Like Tebow, McCoy, etc., his style will not translate well to the NFL. You need to know how to use your assets... you won't get away with being a mediocre quarterback and making up for it with scrambling like you can in college.

Manziel is now going to disappear just like McCoy and Young did.

Yeah, I agree. Manziel will not be so fast and elusive in the NFL and he will struggle to find receivers over those tall defensive linemen.

Explain Russell Wilson then.

Johnny Football......I was thinking more like a Todd Marinovich comparison. JF's throwing mechanics are horrible and his ego won't let him listen to coaching. His speed in NCAA football was one of his better assets but now in the NFL he will find out that instead of 2 or 3 guys on the other side of the line able to run him down he will find out that all 11 can catch his ass. Too small to withstand the beating he will have to endure. Additionally he is in Cleveland.... small market team and his ego will again get in the way and alienate the "dawg pound" And finally, he is in CLEVELAND graveyard for QBs. Maybe he should start organizing a get to know you party with Marinovich, Quinn, McCoy, Leaf, Young, Kosar, et al because he is going to become a card carrying member of that illustrious club.
There is a huge difference between Collegiate FB and the NFL.

Manziel is too small, he'll have to run out of the pocket to see down field....Brady 6' 4", Peyton 6' 5", Manziel 6' 0".

The reason most NFL teams are afraid of Johnny is because it's impossible to gauge how effective he can be as a pocket passer. he spent his college years running outside the pocket, something that doesn't work well in the NFL, Tebow showed that..

Manziel ain't no Brees....closer to Tebow but not as tall.

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix....I would love to have seen the Cowboys take him just to hear Jerry say that name.

And Brees makes Sproles, not the other way around. I love me some little man Sproles from his years on the Chargers, but Sean Payton does more for Brees than Sproles does.
LOL Sproles is NOW an Eagle!

I was not impressed with Round 1 and 2 for my birds. We did fill a need I guess. I havent looked at what we got today though.

And, the Johnny Manziel haters always crack me up. Just sounds like a lot of jealousy from frustrated know-it-all wannabe jocks. Manziel is talented and cocky, and that really rubs people who are neither the wrong way. I've seen enough film to be able to say with certainty the kid can flat out ball and is fun to watch. He will adapt to the NFL game and will be successful regardless if Manziel haters like it not. My guess is there is gonna be some chapped asses when he does well. Maybe 74comet can organize an illustrious Manziel success hater butt hurt club.
