Bill Maher is extremely intelligent. But he dilutes it sooo much with his blind hate of anything religious (regardless of religion) and his overuse of profanity.
My middle school English teacher said the use of an occasional swear word for emphasis was a good use of the English language. Overuse just showed ignorance.
