Maine agrees with Colorado

... So one woman - appointed to her SoS position - can make
a decision to dis-enfranchise all the Republican voters
in her state? ... ... Good luck with that thought.

... Will she run-away from the lawsuits sure to come??

Yeah, Salty. I am sure a state official is terrified of receiving lawsuits from Trump or any of his cult members. Why shouldn't she be when they are all batting .000 on all of their many prior bullshit lawsuits? LOL

It's interesting that the state of Maine has empowered the Secretary of State to make a unilateral decision about things like this. Every state has different laws for how they're elections proceed, the ones that are considering banning Trump or waiting for the SCOTUS to make some decisions. Time will tell. In the meantime the GOP should find plan b, unless they've already made that illegal like they did for all the women that had a choice to take plan b.

Well Trump will win this, it can not be allowed. Innocent until proven guilty does not mean one person can make that decision to censor an opponent. Not one iota of EVIDENCE to prove anything , it just came to her in dream

As has been mentioned prior, state laws usually are allowed to stand unless they are constitutionally challenged. That would be the only way Trump could succeed, by saying Maine has infringed his 1st amendment rights, but good luck.

The 14th amendment does not say that someone had to be charged and convicted of any of the limits of being a POTUS candidate.

Would you think that you would have to be proven in a court of law to be under the age of 35, or to be a natural born citizen? The answer is no - just as it is for somebody who "participated" in an interaction.

^^^ Thanks for the clarification. I thought you were referring to all of the prior lawsuits filed by DEMOCRATS because they were so outraged by how Trump has been unlawfully cheated and treated and decided to file lawsuits on his behalf even though they voted against him for a zombie named "anyone but Trump".

Going forward, I promise to try to keep up better with smart folks like you. It's all just so complicated and confusing to me though, but again, I'll try. LOL

On a serious note, I am curious to see what the Supreme Court decides considering the precedent they will obviously set if they uphold the decisions in Colorado and Maine... I bet they don't want to even touch this shit.

Voters in Illinois and Massachusetts have now petitioned their respective states to remove Trump from the ballot.
