Libertarians and Conservatives are almost always "limited government" folks.

Those are good points in your original post Mystic, and all true. Without rule of law, capitalism is doomed to failure. The problem is when government is inefficient and overbearing. I'd argue that's true of our federal government. Many of the state and local governments though do a good job.
