I would like to apologize to FBSMLUVR

He said he didn't want to see me, and wrote the review No. So I left it alone. I did want to make it up, but he wasn't interested. So it was out of my hands

this is a delicate situation, because both of you have behaved in a totally straightforward fashion, but it seems that maybe there was a failure to communicate.

if i were to speculate, i would say that maybe he was waiting for you to offer a refund or a deeply discounted second go around. i might have done the same thing, given the awkwardness of asking for it as a client.

i'm a photographer, and i can tell you this… if one of my clients told me they were unhappy with my work or my efforts, the first thing i would say is"okay… what do you feel i should do to make it right?".
I agree, I wish he would have said something, but he left like he was happy. I didn't know it was that bad until the next day when he Pm'd me. I knew my mind was elsewhere but I did everything he asked. Then I explained what was going on and apologized and he said he was sorry what I was going thru and that he would not see me again. I just wish he would have let me know.

Not to mention, absolutely the awkwardness of asking for it as a client. There is nothing that could have changed the situation whether I brought it up at the time or not. It happened how it happened, I agreed to what I agreed to, I stood by my agreement and it just didn't work out. I wasn't going to pull the trump card at the end and say hey, this sucked, can I get a refund or whatever. I just happened to be the one that got "the one time deal" as Kelly stated in her original post.

I would have loved to make it up. But he made it perfectly clear in his opinion I was a No in his eyes. And I'm ok with that.

Fine. Transfer the make up and / or deep discount to me and I'll rule whether she is a Yes or a No. Seems fair.
