Maybe my bar is too high but I go by the 24 hr rule for emails. That's why we have vacation auto-reply. People expect SOME kind of response, whether it is "hey, let me get back to you" or "not sure yet, I will check".
Texts are for same day appointments and should be gotten back to within a few hours. If not, move on. There are plenty of providers who abide by these guidelines. Some even respond to PM's on this site and P411 as quickly as texts. Bravo to these ladies! It's no wonder that they do as much biz as they wish.
Problem is...those who need to up their game probably aren't interested in reading this string...
