ThreAD Bitches

Sir Vicks, I think this thread was a bad idea. I respect the fact that you have all the freedom to post freely within the rules of this forum. The issue is that a thread like this usually turns to drama and that is bad, unless of course you wanted to go there in the first place.

Why you would single out Tara is beyond me. Here is the offending sig line:

My only complaint would be that her pictures are too small. But then again, I don't think the forum permits larger banners. I can assure you she has enough people to WK for her here where she doesn't need a dude like me to post to defend her but, since she is following the guidelines, I don't think it is fair for you to slam her like this.

I understand the issue with her posting to the Allison Belle thread and at first instance it would seem you had a valid point. Looking a little deep into it though, you would have to "assume" that she has a constant awareness of her sig line every second that she is online. I am more likely to believe that she forgot about it and go with that.

If anyone cares, I explained in post # 8 why that post by her is not an ad. Unless that someone can provide any evidence contrary to my post, I believe I am correct on my assessment.

Some of the smart asses that replied to that thread accusing her of posting ads when no evidence exists, should perhaps man up and post a retraction. You all are free to do as you please, so doing the right thing is not mandatory.

@ MustangRider

While your suggestion would be an ideal scenario, no such rule exists and they are free to post thousands of times without a single review. But I do understand where you are coming from.
Never mind! Im keeping my mouth shut on this one. But I am sure yall alll know what I want to say.

So, just like you lots of people recognize that bogus threADs should be discouraged. Fair play demands it.

Moderators (despite cookie man's endorsement) really don't have the time or (god bless 'em) the inclination to call out every instance of a rule that is so easily flaunted and so easily defended with, "Hey I was just askin' a question!"

[Just a note, I like the mod's light handedness here. I remember some forums on another board where the mod "spanking" people was the main attraction. MUCH prefer this.]

Anyway, I think the most effective way to control bad behavior (at least among people for whom bad behavior is not the point) is for members to say a word. And (here's the meat of it, finally!) that works best when it is both men and women speaking up.

That the ladies who speak up are themselves sexual service providers is unavoidable. And if those ladies have a "legal" sig line you just may have to accept that and live with it. Don'tcha think?

I don't mean this unkindly, but you are not privy to who exactly helps whom on this board. And even if you were, you don't get to say who's welcome and who's not. There ARE instances when post-count might be relevant, but this isn't one of them. In my opinion.

If you find someone's remarks less than helpful you might just try, "Sir, I found that less than helpful."
STOP BITCHING ABOUT OTHERS?
Sorry, but the smartass in me can't leave this one alone.

Sir Vicks, there is no rule that I'm aware of that prohibits a provider (Tara Evans) or a member of this forum from putting links and info or an ad for that matter in their signature.

I, for one, love the links and ads in a signature. When I'm cruising around the forum and stumble upon a post by a provider that intrigues me one way or the other and then see a link to their showcase, p411 account, recent reviews or whatever it just saves me the time I would have spent researching her by clicking on the link. I see it as a positive, not a negative. It doesn't offend me and I'm pretty sure I can say I'm in the majority on the issue.

A signature can tell you a lot about a person.

Notice my signature? Here, I'll break it down for you...
"I love to watch her strut"
What can I say. I love to see a hot woman strut. They all do it to some extent. Those that know HOW to do it make me melt. I also love classic rock music, so stealing a line from Bob Seger is my cute little way of giving a nod to that music genre.
Offers free mustache rides.
I have a thick, bushy mustache. Some girls like that, some girls don't. I also LOVE to eat pussy. Some girls like that, some girls don't. I tend to lean towards those who do so by having this in my signature maybe a provider can pick that up when checking me out on the board.
Former ASPD member.
I was never a very active member there but I did participate under another handle. Just thought it might be interesting to know that though my account here is quite new, I've been around for a while. (After a 2 year absence)
P411 Verified
Yep, I'm verified. No worries girls, I'm real. Pretty simple.

See, you know more about me now just from a little signature at the bottom of every one of my posts.
Just like Tara, without the great tits and ass. Originally Posted by TexAss

I implied that the post was unnecessary, at least. Maybe it wasn't. But your so-called evidence is really an assessment. Bravo for doing the research...good to see she's not a multiple offender. But you still don't get to call me smart ass or get to arbitrate who does "the right thing.".

I will gladly accept your apology in public or private

Maybe you do have more decision power on what is necessary and what isn't over John Bull, a site moderator that made this suggestion....

Your first reply to that thread:

Don't read an accusation there

Your second reply:

Dude, you've been here 4 measly posts and you're well on your way to being a stalker.

I've read half your contributions here and both singled out a specific provider. That's kind of a no-no. So stop it, whydon'tcha?

Miss Tara has done nothing wrong.
Nope, I can't read an accusation there either.

My best guess here is a case where you felt the shoe fit you nicely, since you thought I was addressing you. Heck you might as well cut the drama short and wear it.

Or did misread your post and you were not really concerned, and in fact were accusing the OP of posting an ad?

No, I don't want to consider applying for a mod position. And I've never overridden anyone. How would one do that?

http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=75619 Is this "evidence?" Please don't send me little links -- I'm not interested.

No, it's a case where I took the shoe and put it on. You don't get to call people asses when they disagree with you, or hold yourself up over others as being the one who knows right from wrong. You may want to consider applying for a god position.

Wouldn't the easy solution be to click the report to moderator button. Then you don't clutter the ad up with bullshit postings and instead of simply placing the ad higher up, you might actually get it removed.

Well, the more threADS these budding Einstein-ettes come up with, the further they fall down the list to get on my list. I ran a limited test last week and had a session with one of the new, unruly, chirpy, young hookers. The session wasn't THAT BAD but she was just following her script, which did have some really good CG and RCG, but in the end it was mechanical. She tried, but she was just starring in her own version of a porn flick. The young ones who are all about "LOOK AT MEEEEE!!!" are great for guys who just want to nutt by putting it in something that is spinnerish and for whom the strictly visual is enough. The new ones will eventually learn what it will take to remain popular for a longer spell, but maybe a long running career in the hobby is not in their future, though that may not necessarily be a bad thing from a number of standpoints.
Do people on ths board that have never written a review ever even seen any girls on this board.
I would love to answer that question for you, the answer is no.

I've questioned allowing ladies to post in the discussion area before. The answer is they will stay. So "Lookit me" post/ads will continue along with a degree of drama.

Learn to adapt. Your best bet is the ignore button. It also eliminates PM harassment.
Whats to question about ? Whats wrong with Ladies posting in co-ed.

Yes The threADS are freaking stupid, I still read them in hopes of getting something informative out them, but i end up entertained.
