Your understanding seems to be off. The vaccine doesn’t cause you to get the disease. In fact it affords some protection from actually getting the disease (let’s call it 50% better than no vaccine at all) and further decreases the chance of major illness and death (let’s call that 90%). What it doesn’t do is stop you from spreading the disease to others in the case you contract the disease.

Compare that to someone without any vaccine, that person can more easily contract the disease, have a higher likelihood of major illness as a result and retains the same opportunity for spreading the disease to others.

Simply put, you and those around you are far better off when you are vaccinated. And if the people you’re around are vaccinated as well all of you are better protected. Originally Posted by 1blackman1

So how is it determined you have the delta varient ? My understanding is a dna test using blood . I just had 2 friends come down with Covid and when they asked about getting tested for delta they were told they wouldn’t because only a few areas of the country are able to test for it ! Seems like a lot of bs going on..
Also they insisted on some form of treatment and were told they would have to be sicker..
So has anyone received any treatment on here ?

I still see no reason to take the jab since my demographic and medical situation makes it unlikely for me to get more than flu like symptoms... pretty certain I had it in Feb 2020 prior to there even being field testing for Covid. Was told I didn't have the flu it must be a sinus infection... except I had flu symptoms, not sinus infection symptoms (which I've had before)

Meh... fuckem, I hope you vaxxers are all okay in the long run anyway.
