It was a point of honor among most of the gals around Subic Bay, Hong Kong, Seoul, Singapore and Thailand to be able to do this, sometimes even switching from Mish to K9 while being supported/manipulated by a guy while he was standing.

Aussie gals, OTOH, were upset if they were considered spinners, as to them that meant too unathletic, or even emaciated by their standards. It seems to me the term is used much more loosely here in ECCIE-World, as a gal over about 5'3" or 105 pounds would never have been considered a "spinner" to us back in the day. And yes, I had the experience many times over the course of 6 WestPac deployments.
I LOVE spinners. Truly a spinner is fantastic. However, what exactly is a spinner? I tend to think of them 5'3" or less, usually less than 100 lbs. Probably 80-85 on the rule of 100. However, I read a review someone posted about a 6' tall spinner? I'm not out to question anyones interests or preferences, but I think the "spinner" word has been stretched to the limit. Thats like saying a 5'0" 90 lb girl is athletic and lanky... LOL
