I don't know u but I have become more aware of this area's board in the past few months, and I cannot say enough how impressed I have been with the way you have conducted yourself. Your information and apparent fairness has been a breath of fresh air, especially after having been a member of the dreaded Austin Board, as I have been for the past few years. Ranch appears to be of similar mode as yourself, and hopefully the area can find another qualified moderator, but I don't believe they will find a "replacement". The way u viewed ur responsibilities to board members should be the standard to which all should strive. And the help and advice u offered was priceless. I salute u "Sir"!

for my money, Ranch and Old Sarge have done a fantastic job around here. Our boards aren't as entertaining and dramatic as Austin, we don't have that High School drama factor. But we also don't have cliques like high school, with people bullying or bragging about themselves any chance they get. Most of us are just guys trying to navigate our way through this life. Ranch and Old Sarge have been very helpful in that regard.

Old Sarge, you have the most informative and helpful posts out of all those I've read on ECCIE. I always enjoy reading them. This forum is diminished by your withdrawal. Your words of wisdom will definitely be missed.
