This is what I would suggest for the powers that be....some of you just seem to think it quite allright to start threads to drown out all the other threads. That is wtf Marshall did. That is what others that do not post in the political threads in the SB have a problem with. I tend to agree with them in this regard.

Whether a new political forum is created or not, I would strongly support a strict cap on new political thread creation. Why do some of you clowns think it's necessary to start multiple threads on the same topic within a short period of time?

While this board is getting increasingly boring, I think a one post per week rule would be counterproductive. These posts draw a lot of attention, which means the advertising spots get seen by more people. The more views, the more management can charge for the space. However, this is a private business, and they can limit speech if they want to. I just don't think it would be a good business decision.

I would say that some of you are scared little bunnies and you see bad times ahead. You consistently get a metaphorical beat down (you probably think different) and you know that Obama has screwed up and exposed progressivism for what it really is. You are not going to win many battles from here on out except for the childish name calling. Like any good progressive/socialist you want to shut down debate. Politics is too intermixed with everyday life now so the mods will go crazy trying to separate the two to the satisfaction of the many.

Of course if some here tried to cut down on the name calling and superfluous insults....but then again for FuckZup, it is all he has.

I have an idea. If you don't want to read a thread, don't click on it. You can limit yourself to only reading one Whirly thread a week. Or COG, or anyone else.

YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO READ EVERYTHING POSTED HERE!!!!

Why is it that instead of ignoring threads they don't like, the libs want to ban them? Just don't read them if you don't want to. Sheesh!

And sorry, CBJ7. I didn't know you meant it. I thought you were lying again.
Yep; that is why it will never happen;

Put an end to members masquerading, as another member, by using their avatar !
If you want real debate and discussion, put an end to posters hijacking a thread topic...............

I doubt that anyone would even mention the possibility of limiting thread-starts if people like Whirlaway exercised just a little bit of restraint. Don't you think it's ridiculous to start eight Benghazi-related threads within just a couple of days? Why can't people simply post a reply to an already-existing thread?

The forum would look a lot less cluttered that way, and interesting threads about things other than Benghazi would stay on the first page longer.
