Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

I tried to do the same as you for the Holiday, but the lady countered her originally posted $$$ donation to a $$$$.50 donation...and that was for Saturday. That's a 50% increase. As far as I'm concerned, it's a ripoff, and I decline.

I don't mind that you personally aren't a fan, but at least you appreciate the integral role football plays in the holiday.

One of my biggest peeves is the host(ess) that doesn't check the schedule and plan accordingly. I mean 4th quarter, tie score, 15-20 people in the TV room glued to the screen & you hear, "Dinner's ready guys, come to the table...."

I mean the woman that an hour or so before dinner comes down and inquires about the status of the game and a good breakpoint (halftime, end of game) and adjusts her timing accordingly is a keeper
