Visa, MasterCard drop Backpage.com after sex trafficking claims

If the ads are free then why not post photos that have nudity?

The ad will be flagged and taken down but it will take some time before the removal happens.

So there has been a lot of behind the screen crap going on with backpage for a very long time.

I am quite aware of the national attention it has been getting. I just wanted to provide another reference point on the ongoing battle to shut the adult section down on Backpage. If they are finally successful, another site will popup fast. I am building it now. LOL

I had heard once that MasterCard & Visa review charges and if you spend a lot at strip clubs they lower your credit score...never seen proof of that, but a loan officer had said that.

Come on... you really think that any site, including eccie, just suddenly has a bunch of girls from out of state post, with very similar ads, usually other obvious similarities, and then just as quickly as they appeared they vanish?

Just look through the "Welcome Wagon" some time and you can see when a pimp well versed in eccie gets to town with his stable. And when he's gotten them all verified you can see it in the ads because they post the ads in bunches too.

I mean, shit, I know I get paid to recognize trends and patterns, but I don't think you need to be a genius to see it.

It seems backpage has less ads and they are not allowing new ads...just the old ads. My question is where do people advertise if not on backpage? I have been a hobbyist since the ASPD days. I am part owner in a studio/spa now....what a headache..LOL..and seen a real decline in business the past couple of weeks. I wonder if some clients are getting skittish with the backpage crackdown.

Well I just posted my first BP ad for kicks. I imagine not too many guys have references or p411 but we'll see.

Also, would love if a site like BP were able to change its ad space reputation into established verified providers and leave behind the human trafficking stigma.
