I've been single for a while
and I have to say, It's going
very well.

Like .... It's working out.

I think I'm the one

If- Rudyard Kipling

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!
A Life of Prostitution
I don't know why
Everyone keeps lecturing me
About choosing
A Life of Prostituion.
Everyone I went to School with
Became a fucking Sell-Out.
For example,
Marianne works for a Public Relations Firm
That tries to convince
The residents of Colorado
That Hydrofracking
Doesn't cause any Environmental Damage.
Bullshit!
I know that the Groundwater in this State
Is being poisoned,
And that people in India
Can't even grow cactus
In their yards
Due to a drought,
Caused by the burning of Fossil Fuels
And Global Warming.
I'm not THAT dumb!
As for me,
I don't own a car,
And don't need one,
Because I don't do outcalls.
It's much safer
And less wasteful of gas
To have sex with men
In a room designated for that purpose
In my own home.
I only go out to exercise
And for groceries.
Other than that,
I order just about everything I need
Online.
Another friend,
Suzanne,
Drifted off into Right Field,
And is working for the Campaign
Of Donald Trump,
Who everyone knows to be
A Fucking Fraud.
I don't get into politics
I sell my body every day,
But I refuse to sell my soul!
Then, my friend, Felicia
Supposedly found a "respectable husband".....
A "caring man",
With a Good Job,
As a Defense Attorney.
Then,
One day,
I got a call from Felicia in the Hospital.
Her "wonderful husband"
Punched her with a Right Hook,
And broke her Jaw.
Felicia didn't want to press charges
Against him
Because she was afraid
She'd get thrown out
Of her Home in Highlands Ranch,
And that she'd lose custody of the kids
Because of a brief fling she had
With the Butler.
Hey,
If any of my clients
Tried to throw a punch at me,
I'll kill them first.
I might not have a College Degree,
But I studied Karate,
Judo,
And Jujitsu
At the Local Rec Center.
However,
If they're "good boys"
I know how to give them each
Good Sex
Because I practice all my Yoga Postures
Every day.
So, please don't lecture me
About my Lifestyle,
And the way I pay my bills.
I never
Go into debt.
If I lived according
To your "values",
I'd be completely ashamed
Of myself.
I'd really FEEL
Like a filthy whore

“There is nothing more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity” When Martin Luther King Jr.
Echoes fade and memories die

Autumn frosts have slain July

Still, she haunts me Phantomwise

Alice sleeping under skies

Never seen by waking eyes

Only poem I know and only because of Batman the cartoon

Tyger! Tyger! burning bright,
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

In what distant deeps or skies
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand dare sieze the fire?

And what shoulder, & what art,
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat,
What dread hand? & what dread feet?

What the hammer? what the chain?
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? what dread grasp
Dare its deadly terrors clasp?

When the stars threw down their spears,
And water'd heaven with their tears,
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the Lamb make thee?

Tyger! Tyger! burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?

Courtesans

O COURTESANS, Love's witching, wild priestesses,
You charm the universe from end to end!
Heroes are always fettered by your tresses,
Kings for their pleasure on your bed depend.

Your pose is graceful, and your nostril quivers,
Your feet go dancing, and your deep eyes burn,
Your supple bodies bend like reeds of rivers,
Your robes like incense round about you turn.

Poor men are full of anger when they see you
Come from your segregation of disgrace,
Matrons cast envious eyes at you and flee you,
And the wise, scolding, turn away their face.

But still the sighs of boys with passion paling
Soar up to you in sultry evenings when
You pass, the dreams of lonely artists trailing,
And gray regrets of amorous old men;

And long, strong sighs of young men sick and ailing,
Whose blood chafes at the scent the summer floats,
Longing to take your breasts like fruits, inhaling
Love in the odour of your petticoats.

I spoke to a monster today.
He said - come over to my place.
There's no need for any type of silly screening.

I'm a real man, I have plenty of money.
You have no worries. I'm In a nice
4 star hotel. Come on over you'll love It here.

I said - If you were a real man,
you wouldn't mind being
screened to my comfort level.
Real men screen
not only for my safety
but for yours as well.

He said - A real woman wouldn't
Invade my privacy and come and
get my money.

I said - I'll have to decline your offer, thanks!

I spoke to a monster today and decided
to upgrade 'ME' by staying by myself today.
It was the best money I've ever made.

Never let anyone tell you, your Black is not beautiful.

There was a very cautious man who never prompt nor played,
he never drank, he never smoked or even kissed a maid.
The day he passed away, his insurance was denied.
For since he never lived they claimed he never died!!

Don't know the author, but my mamma had it on a plaque on her bedroom wall...

"It's Christmas time, It's Christmas time, let's all just spread some cheer...
No time for hate, just time for Love, '17 is almost here...

Hold out your hand, and give a hand, to someone who has not, you never know where someone's been a little could mean a lot.

Some people wish for things we have, and take for granted every day, a warm dry spot and a comfy bed a permanent place to stay.

Some people wish that they could have the scraps we throw away, and while we sit and wonder not we do it every day.

Recycle your heart, recycle your mind, hold out your hand and give, a little bit of pocket change could help somebody live"....

“Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.”
