Strawberry Fields Forever

My dad grew strawberries when I was growing up. Real simple dessert my mom used to make every night during growing season- first slice the berries and add a little sugar, next bake a pie crust, when done baking just break off pieces of crust and put in your bowl. Add berries on top and mix up the the crust and berries. Top with whipped cream and enjoy. Much easier than baking a pie and better imo
I got up feeling productive this morning, so I put some of those strawberries to good use by making chocolate covered strawberries for my boyfriend. They turned out so pretty!

Today was such a beautiful day that I decided to go pick strawberries. I may have ended up going a little overboard. I've been capping and slicing strawberries for the past 4 hours and I'm barely halfway done. Anyone have any good ideas or recipes to use some of them? Originally Posted by Vannah

Nothing really constructive to add but...yum! Love strawberries. Originally Posted by SpankyJ

So far I've come up with:
Strawberry shortcake
Strawberry pie
Chocolate covered strawberries
Strawberry margaritas/daquiris

I'm going to be absolutely sick of strawberries before the season is over.

You can do face masks and diy hair masks/deep conditioners with strawberries too lol.
