I did say that I highly resent that he apparently pays almost no federal income tax despite his supposed wealth and lavish lifestyle. The US has had a theoretically progressive income tax structure for years, but the loopholes afforded the super wealthy allow many to circumvent. Maybe all the Trumpites here are super rich, in which case I get your stance. Somehow , I doubt that thought. The effect of a super rich avoiding income tax is the the not super rich bear that unpaid share. Tax regulations need dramatic reform to spread the pain across all. As Willy Sutton said when asked why he robbed banks: "Cause that's where the money is".

As far as “spreading the pain”, if that’s what you really want, then taxes on the wealthy need to be lowered and those of the middle/lower incomes need to be raised. Your thinking on who actually pays taxes to the federal government appears to be 180 degrees from reality.
