Why one woman chose to be a sugar baby and not an escort

VIP Mya Michelle's Avatar
I asked my sugar baby of 3 years if she ever thought about being an escort and without a second of hesitation she answered, "Because I want to get married some day, silly!" She went on to explain, ". . .. If you're an escort you simply can't hide that, it eventually comes out. . . . . and the second it comes out 95% of guys cut you off the list of potential wives because they don't want to have to explain to their circle of friends at the country club why their wife was once a hooker."

I thought that was such an interesting response I had to share. Originally Posted by utr_guy_in_houston

However he wanted to convert me from escort to his wife in the long run ... HAHA, i was like hunny if you want me to stop doing this first you will have to offer me more than what i am making,a nd blah blah blah, so he tells me about how his friends have wives and how they pay for all kinds of bull like horse back riding in other states, (flying the wife, daughter, and horse!) and how miserable they are and going broke. He had fallen for me and didn't care about what i was doing. It didnt work out because he really didnt want to cough up enough money, ya know wanted me to stay all day long n stuff like a sugar baby, which he knew i wasnt. Not to mention that fact i wasnt interested in a realtionship of the sort.

There are a billion men and women in the world and a billion different minds that have unique views on a "woman" no matter what her profession.

Morality aside and the laws being what they are in the U.S. there is an inherent risk of a woman obtaining a criminal record as an escort that is not present in being a SB. Even if both can leave that part of their lives in the past things like a record do follow you into the future and can have all sorts of unwanted consequences.

I assume that is is something that enters their mind early on when deciding between two

Damn, doesn't anyone marry for love anymore? Money, money, money...this is sad on so many levels!
uhhhhhh....

SB's are just low volume providers. Sorry for the slap in the face but you are still fucking for money. period. Whether it be one or 100 its still the same, Pay for Play.

It might help you to understand she was from a wealthy background so these things were very important to her and they may not be important to others.

In her mind, I believe she didn't want to escort because:

1) The chance of an escort getting busted and having a criminal record (no way to ever distance yourself from that)
2) Being discovered in your advertisements
3) Being discovered when one of your male circle of friends inadvertently books your time.
4) Being outed by one of her former "friends" in the business because they got pissed at her for some reason.

I thought it was an interesting perspective so I shared it. I'm not saying one is better than the other, I like both in fact.

The trick will be explaining to the friend's wives at the country club why their husbands are so familiar with this lady already. Originally Posted by JDNorthface

What`s the point in this? I see that people need "punishment" (Yes , read the similar book by "Michel Focault" .... ;-).....how much this works...), but once they have done their deeds, paid the fine, got in prison - and the crime is not something like manslaughter or serial rapists and you can kind of sense tht the person is not a pervy lunatic -

then there should not be any records. It`s wrong. IMHO

Bluntly spoken: It`s not like spreading legs for money is a potential "crime" people have to be saved from and their enviroment has to be warned and they shall have a flag in their garden stating what they did ... (lol)

For better or worse-- once you get on eccie or similar sites and get reviews you get labeled as a hooker and that trail is hard to erase.
A provider's mentality and that of SB are totally different IMO. I do not believe that a woman who is accustomed to having sex with multiple men EVERY Day can live within a SB/SD framework.

It's analogous to inter-racial marriages or (in some countries) marrying outside your religion or your caste. Social morés, judgmentalism...the border collie controlling the herd.
I TOTALLY AGREE.......
