We have a difference of opinion. We do not live in Hollywood where people can get away with crap, and think that the opinions of entertainers matter. We live in the midwest, and the Bible Belt, where you can be judged and rejected for far much less than a simple tattoo.

You are right about people with success having tattoos, but that logic doesn't matter because it is not that is not germane to our theme. I am right about how people may be- but not always - judged and rejected because of some tattoos, by some - not all - people. This does matter because it may affect how you are received or rejected by others.

It is a given that this will not matter to certain people, so be it. But their opinion is not relevant to the current discussion. The simple fact that discretion is a part of life should be obvious to everyone.

Personally, I attempt to always look at each person for what they are, not a tattoo or what they wear. But I also keep in mind that tattoos, behavior, and clothing tend to become the uniforms of how people want to be seen, and understood by others.

It is always advantageous to be discreet.

Being openly crude can loose you some business and some
friends.

One of my best lady workers had many tatts and could not refrain from loudly saying shit in a nice restaurant when I took her for a business lunch. She just did not notice, or care about, the nasty looks she got from the other restaurant customers and staff. I did not take her out for a business lunch after that.

Nothing was said, and she would not understand, that everyone in the place thought she was an asshole. How much money one earns doesn't earn any respect if one is still thought of as an asshole. She was still a good worker, and great at quality control. The time of her life to stop thinking of herself as a punk rocker had long passed.
1 Corinthians 13:11
English Standard Version
When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways.
Some people do not seem to understand the need for discretion.

discretion | dəˈskreSH(ə)n |
noun
The quality of behaving or speaking in such a way as to avoid causing offense or revealing private information.

Tata are an individual choice, good or bad. Personally tats are not for me. On others I respect their choice, I have seen a number of ladies with tats and they have never been a distraction. Many have explained what the tats represent.

Personally I would rather have the $$$ for encounters over a tat.
Hey Carp.

Forget about the bad tattoos and the good tattoos. Many of them are just plain gross.

Then there are the girls that have tattoos that just yell out to proclaim that she is a hooker.

Not a change of ever getting a good job if that shit can be seen in public. Everyone should have the intelligence to at least not have a tattoo on the neck or hands.

Not even a chance to go home to a family funeral because everyone she knows from her childhood will now know she is a whore.

There are times when everyone wants to at least look presentable in public and not encourage the talk that will follow showing a goofy tattoo that has no personal meaning to anyone.

Just getting a tattoo for the sake of having one; shows you have not other accomplishment than having a stupid tattoo.

A single tattoo, or many, does not determine who you are. It determines how many, not all, people view you. Wake up Gemma, you are the one who was complaining - here on ECCIE- about getting out of the Air Force and not being able to earn enough money to make ends meet, until you became a whore.

You may not care if everyone knows you are a whore, and many of the girls don't care. There is a huge difference between everyone and some.

The point was that there are times where we may want to take off the uniforms that identify us to others. Tattoos can be a whore uniform, if that is what it is, understand it as such, and remember it the next time you walk into a hotel and are told that there are no rooms available.

One can always change out of a suit into bib overhauls that farmers wear. One can also change into jeans and a cowboy hat, but you can't get rid of your tattoos, so be sure before you get one.

This was suppose to be a serious discussion about how people react to Uniforms that identify us, not a social discussion about your emotions connected to how to appreciate body art.

You’re so full of shit. You know nothing about me and I’m thankful for that. I don’t talk about my finances on this board and I didn’t go straight from the military to escorting.

And I’ll be whatever I want to be... a whore a bitch a cunt... but it’s not cause I have tattoos. It’s cause I’m opinionated, loud and don’t put up w shit from ppl like you.

Now this is all the attention you’re gonna get from me. You’ll never learn to respect women and I don’t fck w disrespectful ppl.

Let me see....Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie, Pink, Miley Cyrus, Serena Williams, all very successful (and beautiful) women. Tattoos didn’t seem to affect their careers. Saying women with tattoos are whores is like saying you must have sucked at being a Marine for becoming disabled.
