Showing your ID to a provider - yes or no

In all my time I don't remember ever being asked for an ID. If I was asked it would probably depend upon who the lady was, and what kind of ID I had on me at the time. It would certainly not automatically be a show stopper.

Anyway, like it was mentioned - fake ID's, stolen handles etc. are all shit to worry about which is why I use the reference method. That's about the only method I use when I'm a little unsure.

People are nicer in Canada, the place is cleaner, the cops don't harass you, and they have nation health care and lots of beautiful women. Opps not meaning to hyjack the thread.

I showed my ID to the first provider I ever saw. She used employment screening and then asked to see my ID when we met. I figured she already had most of my info from screening so the ID wasn't a big deal. Plus, she had been highly recommended by some long time hobbyists, was an established provider with an excellent reputation and a great review history.

After that I was able to use her as a reference to see several other ladies who though they asked for my full name never asked to see my ID.

She was a high quality provider who toured a lot and evidently was doing quite well while I was and am just a hick from the sticks. What was she going to do, come down to hickville and try to blackmail me or something... right... sure. I saw this provider a few more times before she retired and she was always very willing to be a ref to help me meet new girls.

So I think its situational. If I'm jumping through the hoops of screening because I don't have current refs then the ID isn't too big of deal. If I'm traveling and there is a great provider that I just have to see and she requires looking at my ID it probably wouldn't be a big deal either.

Once I have already let him in the door, what's the point? If he is a cop, I am busted and if he is a killer I doubt I will be able to say the name I saw on it after I am dead. If I don't feel 100 percent secure BEFORE I open the door, I am not seeing him period.

So, no I don't feel checking and ID AFTER a guy is there would benefit me. I make my mind about long before I get to that point. If it's a discount thing that I offer to certain guys, yes...only to make sure it is either their Bday or they are active in the service.

Second, I have only been asked to show id once and I only revealed first name and picture. I do not think last name is necessary.

With today's technology you would think they would be able to come up with a DNA kit that you could apply before the appointment. That way your 100% sure the person you are meeting is that person.
