I listen to XM and have decade stations programed (60's,70's,80's,90's) to scroll through to find favorites. Also have Classic stations, Blues, Reggae, Jazz, Margaritaville, and a couple of pop/top 40 stations. For longer trips, to El Paso for example, I actually like book radio or radio classics (old radio programs) to make the drive go by quicker and there is always Raw Dog uncensored comedy which can be a riot in the middle of nowhere.
I use to listen to audio books and radio classics too...
I must admit to being an XM junkie as well.
Oh and before I forget Trapeze is a great band to jam to on the road late at night!
I'm surprised nobody has said the man in black "johnny cash"
I dont use xm radio, but i do use the pandora app on my evo...alot of 80's music for me....
Truckin (Greatful Dead) Born to be Wild (Steppenwolf) Born to Run (Springsteen) Road Goes on Forever and the party never ends (Robert Earl)
Radiohead, Weezer, Deftones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, top it off with Beatles!!
i think pantera, rob zombie and some jersey boys and other broadway soundtracks, mix it up.
This week's selection of music will be gwen stefani, duffy, and grace potter and the nocturnals. Rob Zombie is great on the road =)
