I'm not quite sure that the President should be impeached for the email scandal unless it can be shown he knowingly participated in it. The underlings involved may have thought they were doing exactly what he wanted, and they probably were, but I think constitutional protections extend to a defendant in every case. The President may be a partisan hack, and I don't care for him, but Lois Lerner lying about emails, and an orchestrated coverup of her malfeasance, is not sufficient to imprison him absent an overt act in support of the scheme.

These kinds of illegal actions are never done on a whim or because some IRS employee had a personal bias...these are always, always, always directed by the White House for political purposes.
Nikon did it, Johnson did it, Clinton did it, Bush did it, it has always been that way and always will be until a President is actually impeached and put in jail rather than allowed to resign or skate by with no punishment.
