I'm shocked and shaken, but still standing...

I know I don't post on here much in fact very little but anyway I just saw Mercianna and I can tell you the pictures on this thread are accurate.

Sorry. I am just really, really shocked, not to mention, HURT. I have never had anything remotely similar to this ever happen to me. excuse my attempts to defend myself. I feel backed into a corner. I have not been doing this very long really. A little understanding would be so appreciated. To add more insult on top of injury is unnecessary. Originally Posted by mercianna

Sorry you're having some tough times and I hope there's some way by which you can extract a morsel of constructive criticsm from the bad review(s) and move on.
but really, how many girls on this site can say they don't edit their pics a bit? Originally Posted by CarnalCraze

Mercianna,

I think you should put the pictures you posted in this thread in your showcase instead of what you have in there now. The pics in this post look natural and are good but frankly, the pics in your showcase are freakish and look like you are trying to hide something.

I agree that you don't need to run a special, but you could use it as a marketing point for the doubters.

I wouldn't run a special and I would change your showcase. You're a very pretty woman and sadly, you wont please everyone.

It's all about having fun and getting you some good d..k from time to time.

Keep your head up sweetie pie. It will blow over soon.
Marcianna, the 6 pics you posted here were nicer and more natural then the ones in your showcase. I think you should replace the pics in your showcase with the ones you just took. Other men have said they thought your pics in the showcase looked too doctored, so I'm sure they were hesitant to see you because of that. IF you replace them with the more natural pics you just took, more guys will be less suspicious because those pics look more natural. What I'm saying is, sometimes doctored pics turn guys away. It makes them more nervous and think they're taking a risk. There is NO reason for you to alter your pics in anyway. You have a gorgeous face and a curvy body. Your not the only provider with stretch marks.

Do you know what a sadist is?? It is someone who hurts others just because they like hurting people. Sadist hurt even tho they have no rime or reason. If you have no reason to harm someone personally, professionally, financially, or otherwise, but yet you still do, your not a troll, your a freaking SADIST!!

I think these Sadists (not trolls) are angry dudes who hate women. There are plenty on these boards. I've figured that the Eccie community is 25% genuine hobbyists 25% providers and 50% troll/sadist/hobbyist wannabes!

Sadist/women haters do troll the boards and try to make womens lives harder. A sadist saw your ad and thought: "look at her! She doctored her pics a bit. How dare she do that! I'm gunna show her. I'm gunna post 2 negative reviews and then no one will want to see her. That'll show her."
seemed life-shattering
- take it with a grain of salt my dear. Nothing on this board should be life shattering.

Remember, "Beauty IS in the eye of the beholder."

Don't let any of my ATF guys (below) get you down honey...

Marcianna,

The hobby world is full of men who really don't like women very much and it shows in the way the treat them. Of the pictures in this thread I look at the face shot of you in white and I see a hot mature woman. There is a market for all types. There was a thread in Locker Room (OK not going to divulge anything) about another provider that was "I wouldn't see her because of the difference in her pics and in person but after she posted realistic pics I will see her" well she now has a great reputation as and older sex crazy gal, whose dance card is full. Hang in there, be honest and try to enjoy the session and things will turn around.

But yeah, lose the doctored-up hazy looking photos. You're hot enough you don't need to do that.

The fact about this business for the provider is that guys who take the time to review their visit with you may or may not be totally honest about you. Maybe they felt it was not what they expected. So they will say so in the review. Some will be very cruel for whatever reason. Others will really enjoy their visit with you and say you were more than they expected and would definitely recommend you.

The big unknown here is YMMV. I have had visits with providers that did not come close to what others say their experience was, but if I reviewed them I was not cruel, just honest in my assessment.

I like your pics, very pretty woman. I agree with Tara, anyone that knows you will know that the reviews are not factual and will ignore the comments.

My suggestion to you is carry on with what you do best, give great service making sure your client leaves with a smile on his face and weak in the knees. Let it go, it will not matter in the long run to those that know better.
I didn't bother looking at Mercianna's profile pics, but judging from the pics posted in this thread, you're hot! I'm sure there are a lot of guys that like your look. If your attitude matches your looks, I doubt you'll have any problems in this business. I think the girls (and guys to certain extent) have to have thick skin when it comes to the hobby.

Im much, much better at handlign the clingy ones now. I'm proactive and I hold my ground and remain professional. But when you get emails from clients discussing their family, then you know they are out of touch. Men need to have a thick skin and realize you can't be clingy. Just because I offer GFE and do it very well, doesn't mean I am your girlfriend. Your family life is none of my concern. I will not respond to emails regarding their family or personal life or problems. I will only respond to emails regarding appointments. Of course, a thank you for my time is also accepted as well as a happy new year/christmas/etc. But anything beyong that is not acknowledged. So not only do women have to have a thick skin, it's the guys as well. Just my 2 cents.
