We Are Not Coming Back...

What a total waste of a post. That guy has no idea why Romney lost.

That might seem obvious, but not for the obvious reasons. Romney lost because the conservative virtues - the traditional American virtues – of liberty, hard work, free enterprise, private initiative and aspirations to moral greatness - no longer inspire or animate a majority of the electorate.
Actually it does, it's just that the Republican party has done a piss poor job of reaching out to non-white males. Simple as that.

Obama won a large majority of the Asian vote and yet the Asian population embodies hard work, free enterprise and private initiative. Every ask yourself why the Republicans don't appeal to Asians and other minority groups that would seem to be perfect for them.

Like I said, right wing extremists don't let facts get in the way.

Did you stay up there for three years? We're there Romans? was it a bAr Mitzvah gift from your temple? Were you in collegel? Did your "security guard" have blonde hair and big jugs?

My kids have all been. My son decided to go back, but instead got a job and grew up.

We haven't been yet. It's on our list. Probably next up.

But I have spent time searching mp for MY ancestral home in Eastern Europe. Wiped out by the Romanoffs and eradicated by Nazis. Not even a ghost town. Went looking for a lot of them, as a matter of fact.

I have family in Israel. But my anscestors were not from there. Originally Posted by Yssup Rider

I suppose I get it, sort of. I had real concerns about the direction the country was taking when Bush II was elected.....especially the 2nd time. But, I never questioned the basic viability of the American experiment, or the greatness of our country, both in theory and fact. We've got problems but we'll solve them. It may take a financial calamity, it may take some sort of cataclysmic event or it may just slowly happen on its own as a result of political or market events. But, I believe that America is the greatest country in the world. It has been since it's inception and it will be for the forseeable future.

What is O'Blunder? You're always talking about it but never really explain yourself.

Is that a new Irish pub in Mesquite, bubba? Where you go to get your corned beef and cabbage on, guzzle Harp and fight over pool cues?

And, if you don't think that race plays a role, at least with some folks, you are the one who is kidding yourself.

If you say race doesn't have something to do with it, I don't believe you. Just as there are people who voted for Obama and blindly support him because of his race, there are plenty of people who voted against him and hate him because of his race.

You stepped in the shit this time, Timmy Boy. Why? Because you are a smug and arrogant son of a bitch who thinks every thought that comes out of your brain is right, and conservatives are stupid morons, beneath your contempt.

Now come on JL. Not all conservatives are morons. Not even on this board.
