To A Hobbyist, Is There A Such Thing As Booking Too Far In Advance?

I always pre-book a session a week or 2 in advance. the only times that I have done last minute booking was when a lady that I had pre-booked pulled a no call no show on me.

for a 1 hour meeting? pre booking is pointless. I usually book 48 hours in advance at the most.

if I try to book a month in advance it always ends up being a NCNS cause something happens

if its a multi hour appt then yeah I can understand pre booking

A month out is a bit excessive. As many have stated, this is a double edged sword for both clients and providers. I live in an area where we don't get a ton of touring girls, but I do look to see who is coming. For me, I can't pre-book a month out. My schedule is too hectic. Heck, I can't pre-book a week out. The best I can do is show my interest and tell a lady that if my schedule permits, I will contact her when she is in my area if she still plans to be here on the dates given. Usually, I can't commit until between 24-48 hours ahead of time, and still things are subject to change. For me, 2 weeks to 10 days is a good rule of thumb for a lady to post an ad.

For traveling ladies I usually like to book a month in advance. It gives me time to set aside some hobby funds, request a day off from work, etc. Plus it gives me something to look forward to. It's frustrating seeing a new ad for a really hot girl who's in town right now but I don't have the time or the money for her.

This is why I asked, some like it and some do not. I know for me its easier (to pre-book) if you do travel. This way you know how many clients to expect. Thus allowing you to properly budget for a trip. Your hobbyist are happy and the trip ends up being worth your time.

I know some providers do pre-booking polls to see where they are most wanted and then after the poll is completed they go on to pre-book for the city with the most responds.

I have seen that helps a lot too. That was the guys won't get their hopes up and a provider doesn't waste time and money going to a city where she only had one client show up. (or none in some cases I've seen on the boards)

Usually with my appointments they are least 2-4 hours long so S&M guys will book as far as a year out and actually make it so I just wanted to get a group view on it too.

I like to book my appointments two weeks ahead ( if I can ) I have a busy schedule between work an home life and I need as much time as possible to plot this out. I can't just walk out the house and say I'm going get gas and come back three hours later. In the words of The Wicked Witch of The West " these things have to be done delicately " !
I prebook as much as I can.
"These things have to be done delicately".

Love it and know exactly what you mean!
I live between 3 big cities, so I like to pre-book. Usually start about 6 or 7 days prior, that way I can give 24-48hr for a response and get 3 attempts in.

I would like to pre-book so that I get to enjoy the anticipation, but more often then I like, I get a bad case of horny and book a last minute session.
I like to pre book because it gives me more time to read reviews and research. I like the anticipation too. It's kind of like being a kid again and looking forward to Christmas!!

Pre-bookers are last minute cancellers, at least for those of us who aren't making a career out of this. I've been on and off this board since ASPD days....yeah, too dang long! Lol
IMHO, last minute has ALWAYS worked better than pre bookers, but then again, I'VE BEEN OFF AND ON FOR YEARS.
I know that when travelling, booking a few weeks in advance has been stellar for me.
Then again, you get yourself in a large city like Dallas, where I'm from, and the market is so flooded with women that guys won't be deterred from NCNS by the threat of a black-list profile looming over their head, then you get cancellations out the wa-zooey..if you're lucky to even get a warning.
Then again, it could be my inconsistency with the whole hobby/provider career thing that prevented the commitment on their part. My lack of commitment to consistency with providing could've fueled their response.
I only know what I know and that's what I know!
Lol
Enjoy yourself ALWAYS.
Don't let this consume your entire being.
Have fun...ALWAYS, NO MATTER WHAT.
That is my (maybe unstable) advice to you.
Always choose your own path.

That's funny because I find that last minute bookers are WAY more likely to cancel last minute than gentlemen who schedule in advance. Last minute bookers are often contacting 5-6 ladies at once and if a lady who is cheaper / higher on their list takes longer than me to respond, they will not hesitate to cancel on me to see her instead. Sometimes after I've spent an hour or two traveling back to my Incall, cleaning the place, sterilizing my toys, getting myself ready, and putting on lingerie, I will get a call from someone who scheduled with me on short notice with a bullshit excuse where it's obvious that they are lying. And that is why I don't accept last minute bookings anymore unless I happen to have a VERY good feeling about them. Last-minute bookings are a mess 50% of the time, in my experience. No thanks!

Guys who schedule with me in advance generally have researched me thoroughly and are booking in advance because they respect me as a professional and know that I will not be sitting around in my lingerie waiting for last-minute calls. And that my schedule is likely to fill. And they know about my cancellation policy. I do get cancellations from advance bookers, but most of them are in a respectful amount of time.

But yes, I do present myself as consistently reliable and have never NCNS'd anyone as long as I've been an independent provider.

Interesting. What Zoey says makes more sense to me. However, when I booked with a lady for the first time, I was planning travel to her area and made my initial booking request nearly three months in advance. I've seen her several times since then, and she told me once that her experience was that with clients who booked as early as I did, the appointment usually never materialized, and that sounds more like what Jamie is saying. Maybe the difference is that you two are talking about last-minute cancellations or out-and-out NCNS; maybe the lady who told me of her experience was talking about cancellations with decent advance notice.

For an inexperienced client, it's hard to know. I had no idea how far in advance this lady's calendar might be filled in. I figured she could always tell me to contact her later. And, as it was, that gave me a long time in which to wake up every morning and reflect that I had a visit with Elisabeth to look forward to. And that was good ... sort of a low-intensity buzz for quite a long time.
