Well everyone, I am home. Losing a parent is never easy, but I am grateful that as I held my Mother's hand when she passed, I could honestly say in my heart that I had no regrets. We left nothing unsaid, no unfinished business. I know that my Mother knew how very much I loved her, and how very important she was to me. She passed away surrounded by all of her children, and most of her grandchildren. We could all be so lucky when our time comes.
Thank you all very much for the kind words and well wishes. Both those of you who replied here, as well as those of you who sent me PMs with your condolences and well wishes.
I got home Sunday night, and decided to take a few days to regroup. It didn't help that I developed bronchitis while in NC. Sharing a house with about a dozen people meant that we shared alot of tears together, some fond memories as well, but unfortunately we shared alot of germs too LOL
Anyways. I'm trying not to get too sentimental here. So, I'm home, I'm available for references if you need them ladies, and I'm ready to put my game face back on. Cheers everyone.
God bless you and your family, Stacy. I lost my Mom in March so I know what you're going through.
Take all the time you need to regroup and let us know when you're ready to see all us lucky KC guys again. In fact, I need to schedule with you again myself!
It's good to know you're back ... we've missed you around here!
Please take all the time that you need. Having lost my dad 11 years ago I know how difficult it is. If you ever need someone to talk to I'm always here for ya!
