I made the dumbest of mistakes

Is it possible that he may have had intentions on getting the money to you and just hasn't been able to & maybe you jumped the gun in coming to his house and banging on his door and he got nervous? This is assuming his wallet was really taken and he really had to cancel his cards. It just seems like if he actually intended to scam you it's counterproductive to pay you just to sit and have coffee and then pay double your rate for a session. I can't remember the last time I heard of a scamming victim coming out that well. This guy might be the worst scammer ever. Lol. Originally Posted by TheOracle

After a million text this morning his "current sb" answered (i bet it was him) saying that i wasnt getting paid and he didnt have a dime to his name.

I didnt knock on his door till 2 pm today after not hearing from him at all. At that point i already accepted that its gone. Replayed the whole day in my head and laughed.

Yea i shouldve left but as i said, it was too much of a shit show to not look. Thats why its a post and not an alert with info.

LadyAnastasia,

First off I am sorry this happened to you as you seem like a very nice, level headed young lady. To be thrown into what sounds to be a very chaotic situation and do your best to "go with the flow" takes a certain kind of person.

Others have mentioned the toddler being the first red flag however I submit that there are much bigger red flags here. A gentleman who presents himself to afford to play as hard as this guy, spend money on multiple girls, have strangers over with his keys and wallet in plain sight, etc... that sounds like a guy who is spiraling out of control for reasons unknown. Compound these witnessed activities with the fact that HE LIVES IN AN APARTMENT and you know he is beyond his means and heading for rock bottom.

Hate that this happened to you, lesson learned. I've done worse myself, one of those "what the hell was I thinking moments". Sometimes it's best to just get over and move on down the road.
Wait...a potential "Sugar Daddy" lived in your apartment complex?

There are plenty of people who dont live lavishly. Also my place isnt broke down lol but not ritzy either.

He logged into his bank account in front of me to show the cash was there. He had it.
Sounds like enough of a shit show to not go back for your own safety and to steer clear of illegal activity
THIS right here....

"You are now tied btw for the "Best Fucked Over Thread Ever" with mrredcat43 and his rental car adventures."

Take the loss and chalk it up. Life gives us lesson. Sounds like he just set you up for some rodeo with everyone hoping you would bring in your clutch or handbag and the only thing of value was the bra.

Sorry this happened to you.
Just wow.what a story
Sounds like a fuckin’ reality show! But like most are saying glad you got out ok.

Oh well, maybe he just likes having a maintenance guy he can call anytime to get stuff fixed. One of the perks of apartment living.
