Price or Provider?

Looks, how her ads are written, reviews, and then price. Like a good push-up bra, price can get you noticed quicker, but if you fail the other areas, no matter how cheap it is, if you don't think you'll have a good time, why waste the money?

There's more to a provider than what lies between her legs.

A simple question that has been bugging me for quite some time.
What do you guys, when the urge comes on, look for first?
Let me phrase this a different way here.

You have got the urge to see someone. Walk me through how you do this? What do you look for first? What makes you say, "Ah, she's the one!"?
Do you look for a pretty face? Then what? Read reviews? Look at her pictures? Then look at the donation? "damn, too high, but wow, I really do want to see HER!"
or
Would you turn down a visit with someone you really want to see due to her donation, and go look for a weekly special, and try to find another because the real one you want to see was too high? I suppose with so many to choose from, that wouldn't be too difficult, but just needed to know if you actually do walk away from "the one" due to her donation.

I just need someone to walk me through their own process of deciding who you will see next. There is a reason I need to know, but I will keep that to myself. Personal.

I have a ceiling amount that I am willing to spend per hour. Based on my experience, FOR ME, a gangbuster session has a maximum dollar value regardless of who the lady might be and what her menu is. in both categories, what i'm looking for is an encounter where there's a high probability of a deliteful time. with a renewed emphasis on deliteful encounters and less on getting it on, so far this year, about 72% of my encounters were very deliteful, 10% were ok, and 8% were way less than deliteful. A lot of times it's not in this order but a combination of certain things. For example; if I find a provider I'd like to see that has a incall in Fort Worth that is gorgeous for $250 but has limited activities and I find one in Dallas for $175 that is attractive but not as pretty as the Fort Worth provider and has a full menu, I'm driving my happy ass out to Dallas. Looks are important but not as much as a combination of 1, 3, & 4. So even though this is my priority I go by it's really a combination of this list.

Personally I feel anything over $200 is just not worth it. I have only spent over $200 a few times and it was either because I was there longer then planned or I loved the session and left a tip.

Low rates motivate me to hobby more. In fact, I think providers should take a page out of the hotel chain playbook with regards to loyalty and repeat business. Give me points towards discounts or other perks with every booking I will see you more regularly. While we all have preferences when it comes to selecting a provider, customer service and price are the two most important factors to me.

The first thing to catch my eye is either appearance (pictures) or performance (reviews or word of mouth). Which ever one it is, my next step is to check the other and see if I can get any sense of her personality from her posts, web site or ads. What rate I'm willing to pay is based on the provider's level of appearance, performance and attitude. For the ladies that rate extremely high for me across the board, rates aren't really a factor, at least not any hourly rates I've come across in Dallas. Of course, it would take someone very exceptional to get me to pay 2 or 3 times the typical Dallas rate.

My current thought process goes like this:

1. Is she someone I'd like to spend time with? - this brings in looks primarily but also personality. I have encountered some ladies in chat that wouldn't fit my search function criteria but they're such fun in chat or pm that they make me want to see them. If I don't want to spend time with them then there's no reason to go any further.

2. What's the cost? - There are a few ladies that have passed number 1 with flyng colors but are simply out of my budget point and I start thinking about 2 sessions with this girl and this girl or 1 session with her. I will likely always choose the 2 over the 1. Cost is a very important factor for me.

3. How are the reviews? - When I look at reviews I'm gathering lots of info. ROS is EXTREMLY helpful and helps me narrow the list or move certain ladies up. But just as helpful is any info on the incall, the location, the accuracy of pictures, and other information that helps me make a good decision.

4. Availability - I have to fit hobbying into a narrow window during the work day so I have to find providers available when I am.

5. Response - A ladies response tells me a lot. The speed of the reply is fairly important but not as important as the substance of the response. A one or two word response (When? or when babe?) to my email with a few questions in it doesn't inspire confidence that we'll have a good time. And I never ask about activities or other info in an initial contact.

Another aspect that enters for me is referral. I'm fortunate to have made a few friends on the board who are more seasoned in the hobby and have given me suggestions when they know what I'm looking for. I haven't been disappointed in that approach yet.

Probably 80% of providers are completely off my radar for one reason or another. Over 40? Off. Over $300/hour? Off. Not height-weights proportionate? Off. Not gfe? Off unless you're cheap and convenient. Don't like you're pictures? Off. Bad reviews? Off. Bad attitude or surrounded by drama? Off. Of you're close to being off for any of the above its going to take something exceptional to get picked.

If you're still on list, then its a combination of looks, personality, services, price, and convenience plus whatever I'm in the mood for and sometimes its just the first to answer her phone.

Yeah, what Valentine said. Dallas is a great market so normally there is someone to fit the occasion. Expenses seem to be going up faster than my salary lately, so I hobby much less now. When I do make a decision, I've put alot of thought and research into the selection. The days of looking in the Weekend Line Up section and making a snap decision are gone. (got too many luke warm or piss-poor sessions that way) I want the odds stacked decidedly in my favor before I sign up: Looks, check. Activities, check. Positive Reviews, check. Availability, check. Lack of drama, check.

Pretty much what has been said. Start with photos, services, reviews with special attention to the intangible. That is, how the client felt.

Last year I wasn't as concerned about donations as I am this year. My circumstances changed and the pressure on the hobby budget has taken a hit. Part of this is because I prefer two hour visits. I pay special heed to providers who have an attractive two hour rate.

Fortunately, DFW has a bit of a Goldilocks situation. That is, there are some providers I would like to see but not comfortable spending that much at this time. There are other value providers who don't provide the kind of session experience I prefer, with emphasis on personality and charm of the provider. However, DFW does have a fair number of wonderful ladies who provide the type of session I enjoy.

I think it's unfortunate that the fee has become a larger factor in my selection. But it is what it is. At least ... now and probably for the next year. Originally Posted by dodger
