"Karl Marx Was Right"

New video I found regarding Karl Marx's theories. Watch when you have time. It is long! I really cannot understand how so many Americans really think Capitalism is working for the whole of society. It includes written article also.

I used to think "communism" was a dirty word too!

OverCompensation, do you think humans are not designed for freedom? Are we designed for slavery? Are ambitions, goals and dreams merely phony constructs available only to a few? Do you seriously think that any human, given a choice (without cultural and parental programming) would choose a life of servitude over a life of liberty? Seriously?

Some of us chose to look to science for that answer. Others made up gods in order to explain things that we couldn't explain at the time. You can't say what a human would choose, outside of cultural or parental programming. That's an unanswerable question because inevitably, cultural influences will have to play a part. Liberty as chosen by whom? Your liberty might not look like mine. And you also present a false argument by presupposing that there are only two outcomes, servitude or freedom. Some would consider a lifelong 9-5 job a form of servitude on some level. You want to arrive at a simple answer and there just isn't one.

Idealistically, socialism is a society built on helping one another, sharing resources and building a society in which we can all live in. "Human need, not corporate greed" I believe, is the motto for socialism. Of course, this is all only idealistically. One look at the real world shows us that we are not ready to achieve these ideals.
Democracy is a form of government where everyone in society is involved in making decisions i.e "rule of majority". Technically, the U.S is a republic since it is collectively a union of states and we vote for people who make decisions for us. Idealistically(use this word a lot), you might consider democracy as having more of an affinity with freedom but just one look at our country would prove you wrong. Nothing we do is free anymore. The entire system is based on a jumble of laws that is an utter and complete mess. Corporations make our decisions and run our country. Government tells us how much we make. The only freedom we have is to complain about this stuff in our "private" online forums
.
So, to answer your question in short, neither one of them allow us to be free or even more free than the other. In theory, they are both good. Practically, not so much. We need another revloution. The only quest to actual freedom is through anarchy (and maybe that is the answer too).

or...

What's the difference between Obama and a Bucket of SHIT?

The "Bucket"... fuckers

Sit in on some comparative religion courses. Man hasn't changed, ever. We see things, we need to make sense of them. When we can't, we explain it by saying it's magic(Jesus). As science progresses forward, it will continue to erode the need for religion as a societal construct. Hell, even Newton, one of the smartest men who ever lived, reached the limit of understanding in his time and believed that a supernatural being was responsible for what he could not understand or explain. It's not something to be afraid of. You'll be dead, you won't know it.

I don't know whether shammytard is too young or historically illiterate to remember the Berlin Wall. Can someone help me out here? I mean, what was all the fuss about back in 1961-1989? Who built the wall in the first place - the communists or the capitalists? Was it erected to stop people from fleeing to the communist East or the capitalist West? What does that tell you about where freedom flourished and where it was suppressed? It's called voting with your feet! Yet shammytard thinks they were both the same. According to his libtard revisionist history of the Cold War, neither side allowed us to be "more free than the other". The only cure for this type of demented and delusional thinking is to lock shammytard in a room with Pink Floyd's "The Wall" playing over and over at 80 decibels while documentary footage of East Germans being shot to death fleeing to the West runs in a continuous loop on a video screen. Then after a month or so of this Audio-Visual re-education therapy, we will fly shammytard to the Korean 38th Parallel at the Panmunjom checkpoint, march him out and give him a choice to go north or south. Don't tell shammytard, but in the north they don't have Miller OR Budweiser!

Shammytard, this bud's for you:

Guess which Korea is free and which is a Stalinist dictatorship?

Guess which Korea eats and which one starves?

2013 Per Capita Income
Communist North Korea - $1,800
Capitalist South Korea - $33,189
