The Official Anchor poll

Since liberals enjoy canceling people I’m guessing Lemon is gonna have a harder time.

Dear Tucker,

I’ll get right to the point.

We want you to partner with us in what we feel is a noble and necessary effort to define the future of media.

Here’s our offer:

$100M over 5 years.
An equity stake in Valuetainment
President of Valuetainment and a board seat to project your strategic vision and voice.
Your own podcast(s) and other daily/weekly shows.
Documentaries and movies covering topics you care about.
What else? We are all ears.
Our convictions about freedom, liberty, and truth run deep and we believe we are the absolute right fit for you and America.

While we may not be the biggest media company, we are a new media leader driving into the future to make truth, fair debate, and commentary more accessible, consumable, and protected.

We are 100% serious about our offer.

Respectfully,

Patrick Bet-David

CEO

No word if Don latched onto the Wingstop gig yet.

With the current round of news anchor firings, let's see whom we think will land on their feet. Between these 2

1) Don Lemon
2) Tucker Carlson

Whom will land a bigger, badder and better gig somewhere else? Originally Posted by Why_Yes_I_Do

that was a poorly worded question.

stick the landing???? really...

Anchor of the highest rated show on the highest rated cable network will be difficult to top.

Rupert Murdock might soon be having one of those “what the fuck was I thinking” moments. Odds are he got some bad advice.

Kinda like having a man pretending to be a woman to promote your beer. Originally Posted by Jackie S

when the subject of tucker carlson came up, supposedly his fiance said that there was a reason why carlson was number 1 and that it was God that put him there.

OK, OK, OK. Looks like I was wrong about Dandy Don. He now has a job offer on the table. If he's smart, he'll jump right on it before they change their mind.

Rick Ross has offered Don Lemon a job at Wingstop after he was fired from CNN: 'I'mma make sure I get you in front of the right grill, brother' Originally Posted by Why_Yes_I_Do

but you're taking a chance that somebody here would know the gymnastics expression "stick the landing".

those things are very obscure except for the very knowledgeable of that sport.

only 8 people voted in the poll. if you wanted more people to vote on it, use a different language.

Obscure?!? Uhm, lemme see. About 3 billion people watched the 2020 games in Tokyo and a few years before that there was a reported 3.5 billions viewers. That's approaching half, at least a third, of the world population. So calling it very obscure seems way off the mark, notwithstanding that it is a very common phrase in other sports, ice skating comes to mind, ski jumping perhaps.

BTW: I'm not in it for the numbers, just the ratios.

But if you want a drill down in total eyeballs, multiple the above by two and use your single pair to view the below.

Olympic Summer Games total global TV audience in 2008 and 2020 (in billions)*

FWIW: Not sticking the landing on an aircraft carrier es no bueno also.

Tweedily-deedily-dee, tweedily-deedily-dee
Tweedily-deedily dee, tweedily-deedily-dee
Tweedily-deedily dee, tweedily-deedily-dee
Tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet

He rocks in the tree tops all day long
Hopping and a-bopping and singing his song
All the little birdies on Jaybird Street
Love to hear the robin go tweet, tweet, tweet

Rockin' robin, rock, rock
Rockin' robin
Blow, rockin' robin
'Cause we're really gonna rock tonight...

But you can here it in his own words here

No word yet from Don Lemon. He may be off at grill training at Wingstop or something
