If you are spending $100K and 4-5 years for a job that pays $35K you are getting a bad education. #wearethe99percent

Considering what is passed off as "journalist" nowadays, (ie, shills for the Democrat Party), Hooking is at least as honorable of a profession.
Odd you didn't recognize your sister.

I wonder what happened to my comment?

I have outstanding student loans and this boondoggle is a crock on the part of Obama. It won't take affect until next year (after the election) and it is probably unconstitutional. Those loans are part of the assets of lending institutions. Reduce those assets by fiat and you start crashing lending institututions just like the Savings and Loan default back in the last century. Why has the price of tuition increased faster than inflation? Government backed loans. The schools want that money and the government is very happy to cosign for the money. Students start biting off more than they can chew, schools raise prices (tuition), book companies go ape shit (buy a text book lately?), and it can all be put on the proverbial credit card. These young adults signed documents just like a 17 year-old signed an enlistment contract for the military. Why can't a soldier sitting in Afghanistan decide that they did not sign up for this and just walk away. That's right, they can walk away in Obama's military.

As for Timmie, you can get a four year degree for far less than $100,000. Why do you think we have community colleges. You have to demonstrate some intelligence along with academic capabilities. A degree in Kansas here using the community college and KU can be had for less than $70,000. If you finance the whole thing with loans then you have 10 years to pay it off. Or you could join the service for four years and get most of it paid off by the government.

Why don't we ask how Hillary was able to send her little girl to Stanford, Oxford, and Columbia when she was "flat broke".

Maybe $25, but $200 is overpriced.
GREAT. The root cause of tuition inflation has just been amplified. Only need to pay back 10 cents on the dollar (if you are smart and don't have much declarable income for 10 years.)

Does this new giveaway only apply to 18 year olds fresh out of high school?

So The President is going to sign a executive order stating that the most a person can be made to pay back on a yearly basis is 10 percent of their income. Then, after 10 years, if the debt is not paid, all is forgiven. Originally Posted by Jackie S
