Game of Throne Finale

HBO absolutely has the best original series programming around. I don't even keep it for the movies, just all of the series they roll out over and over again. Fantastic stuff. Originally Posted by Dilbertgolf

Yep, sat there muttering to myself when the credits were rolling after the big stabbing scene. Wish he would come back with blue eyes and rock those turncoat fuckers!

Jeez, was I actually feeling sorry for that twat Cersie? I think she's gonna have her revenge on that Amazon that was slapping her around though, and it's going to be epic like what happened to Theon.

Speaking of Theon: When did he find his lost balls?

Stannis: Done.

Jamie/Cersie's daughter: Done. (Apparently)

Ramsay Snow's little bow and arrow Hoe: Done.

Did I miss anyone on the body count?
Do not believe everything that you see. I won't say more here - I don't want to potentially spoil it for someone.

Kit's interview was so ambiguously matter of fact I can see it playing out either way.
Cersei was smoking hot though! That scene was definitely an eye opener for me! Originally Posted by DarkeyKong

As far as hope though, you're correct on this. Another character was also supposed to return to life... then didn't. And everyone is still hoping for that one. So, who knows? Not me. Bring on Season 6!

They have given far too much background and there are so many questions left unanswered for his character arc to be completely finished. There are also too many subtle (in the show) and not-so-subtle (in the novels) clues to his parentage (R+L=J) that suggest that he will be reborn (among salt and smoke) as Azor Ahai. Also... Since death pays for life, and there hasn't been one gifted for Shireen's sacrifice yet, and his body will soon be set to burn on a pyre, it's looking very much like this is the setup. Add to that, the fact that there just happens to be a priestess right there who serves a deity known for resurrection, all point to him definitely coming back.

But of course! My "stage name" is an A Song of Ice and Fire reference, even.
