It seems to me when accessing rubrankings the site tries to install some software for data collection. A google search of the company doesn’t bring up much, other than they have a British Virgin Islands mailing address and are in the business of data collection for “privacy-centric sites”.
The lack of transparency of this company when you try to check them out on their site concerns me. So far my security software has blocked all their attempts to install software on my devices, but I’m not going to be frequenting a site which tries to surreptitiously install software on my computer.
