Would you date an escort or client ?

Escorts are people too, and besides, I have a past I'm not entirely proud of.

As someone already posted, if both of us were out of the hobby entirely, I could do it. Our past has nothing to do with it. Moving foward does !

I would definitely date a provider OTC (almost did). For me, it would be NSA situation. I doubt I would get into any LTR with a provider for personal reasons. If I did get into an LTR, I honestly don't know how I would respond to whether or not she continued to be a provider. And I don't know if I would stop hobbying. That's why I would simply want the NSA relationship or a friends with benefits relationship. It is so less complicated.
With only a few exceptions, men who hobby often go back to it eventually. The ONLY way I would even consider it would be if he was single when we met, and I was out of the business for good. Originally Posted by London Rayne

Actually I have (dated an escort OTC)... and if I started LT relationship I wouldn't expect changes in the lady's lifestyle unless it was her choice...

I think it might be fun for a while, but to work long term it would be difficult . I could see lots of trust issues from both sides springing up, even if both had quit.
Are you looking for a boyfriend Sweet n Little ?
I only date men in the real world so that my skin glows for you guys!!..lol
I've thought about this and I don't think I could.

1. Both of us would have to leave the hobby.
2. This includes message boards, texting old ATFs, etc etc.
3. I do not like being a cop but I would turn into one.
4. If I had ever given him a reference I would always wonder "Well if you liked me so much why did you go fuck someone else?"

Even typing that out makes me tense lol. I'll just stay single until I'm done
Yes to both questions. I am old fashioned. I would date (and for that matter, marry) my UTR in a New York minute. And yes, I would certainly expect her to quit the business if she married me.

I would but there is no way I could date and do this. I can't see me being in a relationship with someone while I continue to do this.... Originally Posted by Eccie Addict

If you could ,would you date (as in off the clock ) someone you met in this business?
if you did start a relationship would you quit or want the other to? Originally Posted by Sweet N Little

I believe I could date someone that was in the business, but if after a period of time the relationship became more involved, I would want her to stop providing and I would most definitely stop hobbying. I would not be hobbying now if my current situation had not gone south. Tried to work it out and other side did not want to cooperate. I can be a one woman man for the right lady and at that point of commitment, I would expect the same of her.

I guess I'm the minority here. If you don't have trust in her and likewise then any relationship will not work. I guess I'm to trusting of other people. I would really like to hear the view points of some of the ladies that do have SO's on this subject. I personally don't have a problem with it.
