Interesting article on which hotels get the most prostitution busts

Patels don't get listed because no one ever stays in the places long enough for police to collect any evidence. The cleaners are always sweeping in to do the dirty work. Originally Posted by WolfWhistle

This seems like a topic that qualifies for the alert section, and I agree the list should be a sticky.

Curious, I am, as to exactly how LE was able to make the busts.

Is there an underlying common factor?

Such as, were many of the busts off BackPage ads? Or another website?

How many were locally based providers vs. visitors?

How many were stings in which UCs went to a provider or in which UCs lured a client to come get popped?

Did LE stake out a hotel lobby and follow suspicious males upstairs? Or pop ladies in a hotel bar? Or just man the video room to watch all the floors or suspects?

And how did UCs make the lure happen? Ads on BP, for example?

Doubtful, I am, that many, if any, of the hotels alerted LE to anything happening in the properties, but would be good to know that and other data.
^^^^ typically LE runs an ad as a woman incall to catch tricks or poses as an outcall trick answering ads including icky gurls....to catch whores.

They need the action to go down on their own turf.

they set up in an adjoining/connecting room and record the activity from the wires/bugs . Once the right words are spoken, .....they enter the room.....SURPRISE.

generally "no" to your other scenarios

Who knew that you're more likely to be busted at a 4-star high-rise than a PI????
I was at the Marriott Hobby a few weeks ago!

I believe most PI's are used by two parties that already know each other or kind of know each other. At least that's how it works for me.

Hookers that work from these places get identified and targeted. It's easy to get identification through online search for ads with pics, basic reconnaissance, past arrest reports and assistance from the front desk. Then a decoy is sent in to pose as a John and so the hooker gets snagged. Then it's the Johns turn who are targeted through stings with UC agents posing as hookers via internet ads. LE wants to send the message that these Johns need to stop trying to get laid at these higher end or busy hotels. Why do you think they post those shame pictures up for the whole world to see? Really for the other Johns, the ones that didn't get caught and are active, to see. Deterrence is a big thing in law enforcement, vice division.

Why should this be a sticky? So the whores can move to different hotels and the list can be changed to those hotels next year? LE goes where the whores are...

You fuck tricks for money, you run the risk of getting busted for illegal activity...maybe that should be the sticky...
