Curious, I am, as to exactly how LE was able to make the busts.
Is there an underlying common factor?
Such as, were many of the busts off BackPage ads? Or another website?
How many were locally based providers vs. visitors?
How many were stings in which UCs went to a provider or in which UCs lured a client to come get popped?
Did LE stake out a hotel lobby and follow suspicious males upstairs? Or pop ladies in a hotel bar? Or just man the video room to watch all the floors or suspects?
And how did UCs make the lure happen? Ads on BP, for example?
Doubtful, I am, that many, if any, of the hotels alerted LE to anything happening in the properties, but would be good to know that and other data.

Hookers that work from these places get identified and targeted. It's easy to get identification through online search for ads with pics, basic reconnaissance, past arrest reports and assistance from the front desk. Then a decoy is sent in to pose as a John and so the hooker gets snagged. Then it's the Johns turn who are targeted through stings with UC agents posing as hookers via internet ads. LE wants to send the message that these Johns need to stop trying to get laid at these higher end or busy hotels. Why do you think they post those shame pictures up for the whole world to see? Really for the other Johns, the ones that didn't get caught and are active, to see. Deterrence is a big thing in law enforcement, vice division.
