How effective are provider ads and how do hobbyist select a provider?

I rarely look at provider ads. I mostly visit the studios because I’m usually a short notice guy. I do read reviews and view profiles so that when I can plan and want to see an independent I have done my research, then I have a list on p411 that I go to. I book most of my independents from p411 for ease of screening. I have a hard time with providers remembering me so I don’t ask them for references, I just go the p411 route. Easier for me and easier for them. Besides most are on here also. It’s rare that there is someone on Eccie that I want to see that is not on p411 also.

This was my first thought when I read the thread title. Spot on for me. I find myself paying most of my attention in here. For me, I get a better idea of the personality which intrigues me more than an ad does. The ads serve a purpose, sure, but my interest is usually generated first in the open discussions. I rarely look at the ads anymore and I never post ISO’s anymore. For example, Analese you’re someone I’d like to meet sometime, and their are several others I’d like to meet that I first noticed here. Here is where I first noticed LauraLynn and I loved meeting her. There are several others that I am interested in that I first came across here.

For me personality is just as important as looks.

I get more business from my participation in the open forums than i do my ads, threADs and reviews....

However I would say that my reviews bring me business...i have some pretty great reviews....and I'm complimented on that alot....

I select based on availability, which usually means available within an hour or two

Pictures ( doesn't need to be nude ) , stats (that match pics) , location ( general - But Dallas really) , reviews. ( for me 20+ is good )

Pics from multiple angles with only bra and panties or less. Hiding your face is perfectly acceptable. In fact, it puts me more at ease because it makes me think at least, that you appreciate discretion.

If I saw the same pic on your profile today that I saw when I first saw it 3 years ago and no other new pics, I'm likely to pass it by quick.

Menu that includes a " do not list."


Location general enough for your safety but detailed enough that I know whether or not I need 20 minutes or 45 minutes to get there on time.

Clear rates posted that allow us to setup a session without discussing your rates.

We do get a good bit of info from your reviews. HOWEVER, assume we can only see what you can see or at least what you're supposed to be able to see! And don't assume we read a review thoroughly.

Lastly, if the rate of your "special" is the same as your rate every other week, it's not really a special, now, is it?

Last time I posted an ad was in 2011. I still visit with a nice amount of loyal, regulars from when I started as FBSM in 2010 and now Limited GFE as of 2018. Have not posted an ad because my available time is usually spoken for.

So I'm guessing the newer visitors I've seen have probably been because of my reviews or maybe some are interested in my showcase. My participation on the forums has allowed me to meet a few awesome men. I also have my eye on a few men that post, but I won't go into your inbox because it's said doing so is tacky.

P411 is where I get more interests. I don't post available now ads, I just log in and see messages from men that are genuine about meeting. I've gotten requests a month out, and the visits actually take place as requested. Blows my mind. Most those men do not like writing reviews at all.

I'm definitely thankful for the gentlemen's time and their hard earned money. If I have more time available, I'll look into posting ads or maybe traveling around to Austin/San Antonio. Definitely going to take in the information posted on this thread.

I like pics in the ads as well as menu. If you are cbj please dont make me dig for that information.

I don't often look at the ads. Every now and then, especially after there's Men's Lounge discussion about one, I'll breeze through a dozen or so ads.

But they're practically useless for actual advertising.

Some days I post an ad and get tons of messages email ect. Other times... Crickets. I think it just depends.
I will say, I always keep my ads updated with my most recent specials and pics so sometimes it pays to read the ad! Lol

Ladies are only gaining by posting ads on eccie.

One thing that would really help make your ads more efficient for us guys is for the girls to list what they will do, rather than list what they won’t do.

The problem with listing what you won’t do is that guys search for a specific activity, and then only to find out from the ad, after digging through the text and heart shaped graphics, that it’s actually something you won’t do. For example, search ‘greek’, and you’ll know what I mean.

Its an inconvenience for the consumer and a time waster.

* where you will be - city, neighborhood or closest major intersection/area (for example: Dallas near LBJ & Greenville; Irving near 114 and GBTP, Ft Worth near Lake Worth)
* what you like/are willing to provide as well as what you arent.
* current fees and any specials
* best way to contact you, including reference info needed.
* website other than eccie profile/showcase

all of this info should at least be in your Showcase's biography.
putting what's new/changed in your ads helps.
but where and when and fees should be in your ads!
