I think so as well and I'm seriously trying to kick it. I made the mistake of trying to stop cold turkey. That didn't work out so I'm trying to just maybe limit myself some and then maybe I can kick it. Was hoping others have had this same "addiction" and had some advice. Some things I've thought about are limiting to 1 session a week, 30 minute sessions, and not looking at the ads or just staying away from the site.

Yes. It is an addiction. Originally Posted by Barry85

For a guy who is in good shape and big bucks you sure a wuss. Goodness, I actually said I wish I had your problem.

With a wussy attitude like that, I bet your SO is getting some side action too lol

But on a serious note, you did say you have been disappointing experiences. Is that why you don't review? Not wanting to hurt a provider's business perhaps? It helps to review because some members may have the same tastes that you do and with a more limited budget. There are about 4 guys who if they say no on a girl, I stay away. This is all about sharing information to make informed decisions.

Anyway, since you apparently want to quit the hobby and believe it or not, I can relate. Long story, anyway...... volunteer the hours or so that you hobby in a week with something like Meals on Wheels or something..... Be a big brother to someone who is not as blessed as you are apparently...

I don't know just a thought....

An addiction is a dependency that last indefinitely... how long have you been hobbying? If for years at your current rate, than yes... if only for a year or less, than no, it's just a novelty experience right now... btw, you mentioned you've been disappointed with (correct me if I'm wrong) half of your encounters... If you like to provide some names on the ones that did satisfied you, we might have some recommendations that appease your taste... Whispers have lots of strippers "friends" that might help you out as well

if you seriously feel this is an addiction for you. i recommend reading "don't call it love" by patrick carnes Ph.D. dont think it will cure you (you have to truly want to stop) but it may give you some insight into your addiction and why you/we do what we do.
good luck if leavin is what you really want

hey OP, if you want to quit, just jerk off more. Don't become dependent on it like some people (present company excluded of course) but I doubt you are truly unable to control your urges.

I did say that I have an appointment this week. I've been talking to her via PM. As far as the harassment statement goes you should really go back and read your response and accusations. It had nothing to do with not liking the answer because your answer was idiotic. Have mod disable account? I'm pretty sure I can browse this site without an account.

It's an addiction if you think it's out of hand. If addiction has crossed your mind and your asking, then it probably is an addiction. Your senses are telling you so. Kind of like a gambler, who begins to realize it was all fun at first, but now they are beginning to think it's getting to be too much. Good luck
It's an addiction, I have recently come to that conclusion myself. Went on a 2 mo bender. Definitely had withdrawls, hard habit to stop. Did cold turkey, only lasted 2wks. Don't plan on quitting, but will be limiting to 2 or 3 times a mo. Good luck to you!

Thanks. Good to know that someone else has gone through the same thing. I think there is an outside force not letting me stop. lol I had planned on limiting myself this week but then a West coast provider and a Dallas provider that I've been wanting to see comes to town. So 1 session down. Another for end of week. I'm screwed. Literally and figuratively. haha
