Those arrests in Travis County seemed to dry up after APD's vice unit was disbanded and the Street response teams subsequently formed concentrated on street level arrests. SW's yes, all the time but private escorts I haven't heard of. Is your experience/knowledge different? I'd definitely be interested in this and it's kinda on topic since it deals with the consequences and how they relate to OP's concerns.

We are all committing acts that are considered illegal. There is a risk in all of this. Don't let anyone tell you any different. Do your homework, read the site, and learn how to minimize your risk. That is all you can do. You may not ever have a problem with LE per say but there are other risks that we all take for granted in the hobby.
If you are too worried about the risks apparent and not, this may be the wrong hobby for you...
