Ok, I read this thread, and the sploshing thread. So I think for a good time and weight management, you should, within 30 minutes of waking up, cover your body with refried beans (protein), and ride an an elliptical while a friend licks the refried beans off your body. Then trade places. Once the beans take effect, no one will want to be close to you, and from a distance, you will look slimmer. You are just. plain. silly, COG

I also know that having variety in aerobic activity helps out. I did something today that was cardio-kickboxing. It was difficult at first but I actually feel great only a little soreness in the legs. I am also starting some weight training and swimming as well. I have classes 5 days a week and then planning on doing some swimming on the sixth day and taking a day off.
I use to run a lot and that kept my weight down. When I was running a lot I was able to eat a lot especially pasta. Now that I do not run as much I have to watch my food intake. The key thing is do aerobic exercise at least three times a week and eat in moderation. Good luck.
PS I like your most recent photo. Originally Posted by countryboy74

I prefer the gym since there is access to so much more and the only investment is the membership. You also gain support of other members, the social interaction helps on tough days. If you plan to exercise 5 days a week combination of weight lifting and aerobic exercise cross training is good. A trainer can help you build the correct balance. Start slow and build up. In addition to loosing weight and toning your body you will enjoy the increased energy level.Upon joining the gym I get a free assessment and a couple of free trainer sessions that I will be using. The classes that I will be taking will be basically three days of aerobic and two days of weight training so I think I have good mix up of things to do.
Did you do any horse back riding this weekend?
Regarding your photo you are welcome I am looking forward to seeing other photos. It will also be fun to see photos of a toned up Mya. Make your exercise routine fun and stick with it. Originally Posted by countryboy74
