Cops hang around WLR hotels just for the hell of it. I see them driving up and down the streets. Not like they're looking for people, but mainly because they have nothing better to do.

Also, they wouldn't blow their cover with a marked LE vehicle ANYWHERE near the scene of a sting. They aren't rookies. They make sure a marked car is there only if they are making a guaranteed arrest (as in walking outside with the perp in cuffs).

I had a guy freak out once because there were cops a donut shop on the other side of the street!

I think you just had bad timing. But better safe than sorry.

I think you did the right thing. But I would have freaked out too if that happened to me. Glad you are ok!!!!!
But why do the cops usually hide themselves? Is it because no one in his right mind would keep an appointment while being shadowed by a cop? You did the right thing. But if you do end up seeing her, you owe her a big tip.

The first time I met Sarahlynn I pulled into the hotel and a cop pulled into the driveway across the street his car pointed right at me, meanwhile shes calling me to see if I am there yet. I tell her about the cop and sit there for just a minute and he leaves and I go in to meet Sarahlynn. and I am very glad I did. but the only reason I did is because I did my research and knew Sarahlnn was the real deal. if it had been a less well reviewed lady I would have left to be on the safe side.

Better safe than sorry sounds like the right path...but think of the fun you could have....

Pull up beside the cop ask, "Hey, what's going on over at the hotel? You seem really fixated on it."

(And no...I don't have that big of cajones either...)
I would have done the same as you. Any sign of LE, and I am gone. Don't even question it.

The ones you don't see are the ones you have the most to worry about.

I hate hotel encounters. They have to be really reviewed and verified for me to venture anywhere near a hotel in this area.
