I know exactly where that was in Indian Springs, having worked there for several years. I would well imagine that was a bit more of a dicey situation risking getting caught, than when I was there in the mid-late 90's.

Were you also aware that at one time you could get into the mall through a tunnel from the sewer system that runs from State Ave all the way to the river.
The main tunnel was big enough that some of us kids use to ride are bikes down through it, but the one leading off to Indian Springs you had to crawl through,
It lead to a pump room and from there you had to take a ladder up to a utility room. some of the stupid things we did as kids.
I heard that someone got caught so they put a grate over the tunnel and started locking the access to the pump room.
I worked at China Kitchen for a few months and then worked at Big Al's (use to be Smack's) until the Big Al's opened at the (then) new AT&T Town Pavilion.
I spent way to much time at the Hobby Lobby... had a thing for the red headed counter girl there, I believe her name was Cindy or Candy.
I spent most of my teen years hanging out around that mall... I moved away to '87 and could not believe how bad it was when I came back to visit in '90.
Wow what a walk down memory lane... if I only knew then what I know now.
