The very people who would be taking to the streets in protest are pretty much the same people who go along with Obama because either he is black or they don't want to be seen protesting the first black president. EVA is half way on ignore already. Remember that episode of Star Trek TNG where we are introduced to the Ferengi. Once the superior race determines that the humans are the one to talk to he pretty much ignores the Ferengi captain.
