I am collecting something in the area, and I wanted to hit the lake. Plus this is one of the states I have a boat in. (I also have one in Lake Ray Hubbard at the Harbor Bay Marina in Rockwall, but I was in Cali not Dallas). Plus Dallas is cram packed with people right now on the water, trying to do god knows what with those nasty reservoir fish. Originally Posted by ktiix

On a side note //// funny note. I picked up a Sybian today at the UPS store in SL Tahoe. There was an older woman working trying to get me to tell her what it was. She was thinking I'd ordered about 30 pounds of dildos or porn I guess, it was big box and heavyish. So I told her what it was and its applications. She turned red'r than a can of coke. I started to tell her that I intend to invite some ladies to sit on it for my viewing pleasure, but I decided that might be crossing a line in polite society. It was still funny.

Tara, don't you have a man in a boat? I want to see that. Where is it docked?
I am going to do some pulled pork before I leave. I make my own BBQ sauce with cayenne pepper, brown sugar, and bourbon and never have any left if I break it out. Maybe fry some onions to add to the sweet and spicy BBQ pulled pork, goes good with mesquite and pecan smoke.

The pulled pork was all sorts of good. And I had burned ends too after the rest of the brisket was gone. California people get nervous around good Texas BBQ
