I do find it strange: in most places alerts are valued when they PREVENT others from having bad experiences. Seems in Austin there are some guys who believe it is better to let back stuff happen and then wring hands. Of course it may only be their attitude concerning back things happening to the ladies. After all, in some peoples midsummer the ladies are expendables.
