Initial report: North Side Hump Day Happy Hour

First time attending event and I thoroughly enjoyed it despite my introverted nature =)

I really enjoyed the event and meeting new people. Thanks CK, VL, and Italia. It was a pleasure talking with you. I look forward to next month (sadly I can only make the north ones).

As always, reminding everyone that you are the true heroes, the attendees who make any event come to life.

Y'all are the cement that truly binds the community and helps many of us get past the blood, sweat and tears and celebrate the many joys, too.

Since many have asked, here's a pitch for venturing south to San Antonio from time to time.

All on the Austin North and Austin South invite lists are cordially invited. Just let me know when, please.

Events in the Alamo City are very much fun for all and we've been migrating the happy hour events from Tuesdays to Wednesdays and Thursdays.

As in Austin, most of our San Antonio lunches are "pick-up" events scheduled after occasional surveys.

So no fixed day of week per se, but the surveys help determine which day of week works best for a core group and invites go out when enough people say "let's lunch!" Tagging a group of maybe 15 to 20 to do a lunch.

The current plan is to schedule lunches every other month or so and won't reduce the happy hour frequency.

Good Stuff, CK. Thank you sincerely for what you do to help the ATX and SATX hobbyists and providers. Your efforts certainly help build a sense of community for all of us, that many value as we are again off to chase the next hot lady...

I have met many very nice ladies and found some great guys attending your socials. The ladies have proven to be lots of fun and often repeat; some of the guys have developed into great hobby buddies who also help each other and the ladies.

Sense of community is important and you make great contribution by providing a non-threatening framework that benefits all.
