I put up my last post to answer billy shakes. Saw whispers post above mine. I'm not here to pick a fight. Christmas is coming, Blue or brown santa would be a good choice too. It's just that some kids need so much more than toys .

Not to name names nor to out anyone ...

But personally I know, and also I know of many members in several cities who not only contribute their time, or dollars or items to those in need directly and through organized charities.

Despite many expressions of cynicism and pessimism I have known many generous souls who for many years prove that many of the hobbying community members are warm and feeling way beyond the hobby.

You started this thread with the stated intent of providing alternatives to helping others during the upcoming holidays. But you choose to put down and belittle the ideas presented by others if they are related to the hobby. You do realize this is a board for johns and hookers, right?

And YOU sir have proven to be ineffective for a lot of years now haven't you?

First as a MOD that had to be run off followed by your attempts as a "troll killer" that can't seem to slay any "trolls"....

That is your 2nd off topic post in the thread. Perhaps you might suggest some current cause that will get a few bucks from you that you believe in?

I would reply to your off topic rant by saying that I was not "run off" as you put it. I quit so I wouldn't have to put up with your sorry, fat ass anymore.

But, that would be off topic.

I would also say that as far as trolls are concerned, well I'm not the one who just spent 90 days off the board, now am I?

But, that would be off topic as well.

My post was most certainly "on topic" by mentioning that no matter what way a person decides to make their contribution this year they should do their due diligence to make sure their efforts go where it will do the most good.

At this time of year there are just as many scams as there are legitimate charities it seems. Doing ones homework comes with the territory.

A simple reminder. That's all.

Z, I wasn't condemning hooker raffles at all. I just liked the way it rolls off the tounge. (how do you spell that) But if lazy hookers wanna give pussy, not money to charity... I'll be a charity case. Referencing the spas... I believe they are Buddhist and don't give a fuck about christmas. Hope I cleared that up.
well I'm not the one who just spent 90 days off the board, now am I?[/B]

I like you. You seem like a nice man. Are you wealthy and/or attractive?
