No one has mentioned Memphis Barbecue in Horn Lake, a south suburb of Memphis and depending on where you are staying easy to get too off I-55 south.

Rereading this makes me realize I missed a couple obvious comments:

1) Which it's true that I think it's nonsensical for me to drive from home all the way out to Germantown to get 'cue that's not that much better (if it's better, at all, and I'm not sure about that) than what I can get much closer to me, Originally Posted by bluffcityguy

Of course, if I'm already out in Germantown the Commissary is well worth the visit, and I've made it a point of stopping by if I'm out there. Sadly, I don't get out there all that much.

But those are a different discussion for a different time that has not come yet.

Don't forget Payne's....
I would have to say Leonards also. They have a buffet at lunch on the weekdays that includes a lot of different vegetables with catfish and chicken wings. On Tue and Thur, they have ribs on the buffet.
Not really barbecue, but still food related… What happened to Dyer's Burgers in Bartlett???

It's mine and Danielle's last night in town and we want a deep fried cheeseburger!!!
