threADs?

Can someone post St Christopers counceling to the community that we are not only tolerant of Threads but encourage them?

Some didn't see it obviously. Originally Posted by Toyz

If we didn't give them so much attention they would die a slow painful death. Sue, post when and what you want as long as it is in accordance to the rules and guidelines. Don't respond and don't engage the adolescents. Originally Posted by Risn2TheOccasion

Well, there's not....and that's not an oversight.

ECCIE is threAD friendly: what this means is that no staff is to take action against any post or thread that someone considers to be a threAD. Don't move it. Don't point or suspend the poster. Don't warn the member in any way...PM or in a post. If someone RTMs a post referring to it as a threAD, simply let them know that we do not take action on those types of posts and if they want to let the OP know in a respectful way, go ahead.....but again, I do not want any warnings coming from staff unless instructed to do so.

With that said, if the members want to express their distaste on a thread that they feel is blatant advertising, let them...within reason. Just don't let it get out of hand, meaning insults or other violations of forum guidelines.

Thanks for your cooperation,

St. C

NO TOYZ your wrong! Eccie and St C aren't encouraging threADS. St C simply stated Eccie is thread friendly! More importantly the verb age heighted in RED is what you continue to ignore!

See here is the problem...

High Volume Desperate Provider places thread.
(totally permitted!)

Then board member shows "distaste" about the thread.
(totally permitted!)

Suddenly the usual suspects ride in "knowing the guidelines" and start giving the board member shit about his right to show his or her disapproval. That's when the wheels fall off the wagon.
My advice as well.

Toyz, the topic at hand is "WHY do some people not like threADs". There is no debate that threADs are allowed. That should be obvious from Still Looking's activity over the holiday...

Really there's only 2 gents that participate in coed that have shown interest in me and I like to keep it that way. I want to be able to let my true colors shine here. Im not "hobby ginger" in coed. Im me.

I think the part YOU should pay particular attention to is the "DON'T LET IT GET OUT OF HAND"...

I can only speak for myself, but I prefer most of the ladies posts in coed vs the guys. What I hate is people bashing on others' posts almost exclusively based on who posted it instead of what is being discussed or asked. Another observation is that there a number of hobbyists who spend way too much time here and need to get out and meet other people and find other hobbies or interests that get them away from message boards. Glad you had the time to post your opinion.
Would you care to comment on the actual topic now instead of other posters?

Haters are part of the natural order. You have to find a way to use it to inspire you to do better in the world. Me, I like to dance it out. Or sing it out. I'll be addressing some of these issues in an upcoming video. Originally Posted by BiancaBonVivant

Boom! Sue just nailed it. They say they want ladies in coed but their actions speak louder than words. It is supposed to be a n forum for us to all interact...coed is not supposed to drum up business. Really there's only 2 gents that participate in coed that have shown interest in me and I like to keep it that way. I want to be able to let my true colors shine here. Im not "hobby ginger" in coed. ThreADs are allowed. OP's post is not a ThreAD. Its a post btw if anyone was wondering.

COED is for all members to post and is not meant for you three to try to shut it down for the rest of us.

It's the lack of depth to your topics that make you look desperate for business, that makes it a threAD as well as advertising. Plus the sheer quantity of inane subject matter. But you're in good company with a couple male members as well. Originally Posted by beam me up scotty
